How to Lift the Puck and Improve accuracy 

Four years ago I watched this video and learned how to lift the puck, at that time I was playing “B” hockey and now I’m playing “AAA” thank you for teaching me so much and helping me get to the level I am at today

Started coaching this year and few of the kids are having trouble raising the puck even over a 6 inch pad and trying to teach them was frustrating... and I mean I was frustrated with MYSELF not the kids because I couldn't help them... this video is a huge help!!! MUCH APPRECIATED 💯

watched his videos on how to skate last winter now i skate like a pro (not to brag). and now i find myself watching how to lift a puck. Getting somewhere.soon i will be watching how to celebrate after scoring a goal lol . Thanks for the never disappointing vids.

Im 31 years old and never played hockey before but in a few weeks I'll be taking hockey lessons for the first time so I have been watching alot of these types of videos thanks for the tips

If you're watching this practicing in your basement I recommend watching it until the end. I watched Jeremy tell me to go down and up, but paused it to try it out. Had the puck instantly go up above my paper towel fort and make a dent in the drywall. At the end Jermey kindly tells us to go back down so the puck doesn't go flying over the net. The more you know 🤓

Best example so far, the other videos are so long. You simplified it in nearly 4min, thanks!

These worked well I went In to a game after watching these videos and scored a hat trick with two assist

I´ve always loved hockey its been in my family for so long. (Finnish blood ;D ) im 21 and I started skating again and have really improved alot since I started watching your videos. How To Hockey I really lovw your videos this one especially. I hace a bit of a problem with this, when im shooting at home on feet or roller skates I can get the puck up nice and high, but when im on the ice I cant seem to do it im not really sure why but if u have any thing I should work on or anything u think im doing wrong just tell me. :)thanks

i just learned in 4 minutes you are the best

Been playing about a year now so still very new, when I first started doing stick/puck sessions I was able to roof the puck pretty easily (beginners luck lol) up close and was getting used to elevating wrist shots. Fast forward to last few months I’ve been working on slap shots and discovered my wrist shots lost almost all lift. Practiced today and thinking about my technique I’m pretty sure I had the blade open the entire time and I was trying to add more power to get lift. This video completely opened my eyes as to why, so easy to understand and great instruction. I know the full on sweeps are a problem now if I’m still doing that. But is having the blade open or partially open the entire time another reason to not get lift?

Hey I'm 12 and I've been working on my slap shot a lot over the past few weeks and I was wondering I there was a video on how to do one while skating into the offensive zone because you know when do you get the chance to just walk up to a puck and blast one xD

And the principle is the same for Slap Shots? I'm having some issues in getting the height in my slap shots, but for some reason it's easier for me in one-shot slapshot.

could you do a video how to shoot high with a slapshot ? I never get them higher than the knee and I don't know why :-/
