So I have this one..I love shade trees...the oven cycles like pilot goes on and off. I have to get used to that. Baking for first time in it. Thanks guys

The pilot on the oven is powered by electricity its automatic it works like the top burner, you push the button for oven then push start and it will light itself, why you do this open the oven door and you can see it light up. On this particular model.

You have to adjust the temps up are down yourself, you can adjust with the arrows if it going up and down on its own you may have some other issue.

You can’t relight the pilot light on this particular oven because it is a electrical pilot light the electricity has to be on you have to light the oven with a match are lighter IF the electricity is off. Just like the old space heaters. When the electricity comes back on the oven will automatically light it shelf when you hear the clicking you know it’s working.

Ahhh, so the oven portion requires a bit of time prior to ignition, much like a diesel engine with its glow plugs

Its definitely gas and not electric....
