Thank you so much for making this video!! I swore to myself I would never apply a 40 developer ever again bc Sally’s recommended me a 40 to go from black to blonde & I lost so much hair after I finally grew it out! I trust ur method tho & I’m getting a 40 developer when Sally’s opens todayyy!!! I will definitely lyk how it went!! again thank you thank you thank you!! Also new subscriber!!💖💖💖

@@dariosanchez7182 hi honey!! so this is exactly what i did...i went to Sally's beauty supply. i chose out of the"L'oréal Excellence HICOLOR BROWNS! I used 3 boxes with a 30 developer & came out absolutely perfect!! from jet black to a beautiful auburn brown!! Never again will i use bleach!! So yea look up at Sally's..."LOREAL excellence HICOLOR BROWNS" there's diff shade of brown!! they have a line for reds & blondes as well!! Do not go with a 40 EVER unless it's not ur own hair lol!! I hope this helps u!! And the price was very affordable sweetie!!🙋🏼‍♀️💕💕💕

Thank you for this video! I have to lighten hair extensions that are "natural color" which is black/drown to drak brown. My hair is like 1, maybe 2 shades lighter. So I think 40 developer for 20 minutes might do the trick. I'll definitely need to check it every 10 minutes.

I’m in your same boat! Natural color used to match my hair perfectly, but now it’s wayyy to dark no matter the brand i try…

@@HiddenInChristLo Girl I used 40 on my extensions and it worked! Took about 20-30 mins to apply, detangle, wash. It's perfect now. I didn't have to let it sit out or use aluminum.

@@HiddenInChristLo I coated all of the extensions in #40. This took about 20-30 minutes. This time includes brushing it and massaging. Once I was done and it was fully coated, I waited like 5 more minutes and washed it off. I noticed the color was a little lighter but wasn't sure because they were wet. Once I fully washed and conditioned(do this a few times to get the developer out), I could see the lighter brown. It's perfect now.

I never post comments or care to actually make the effort... but I just wanted to personally thank you for posting this video 🙏🏽 it got my curly extensions that I’m obsessed with to look EXACTLY the way I wanted too without any disappointments ! And we’re all aware of how much stress it can be 1. buying extension.. much less 2. DYING THEM. So THANK YOU!

Alysia Gordon when I did my wig, it was day so I left it in the sun for like 40 mins. However with my bundles it was night so I just used my radiator and checked them every 20 minutes

Add fabric softener to the bundles, it will be soft as hell and feel like new again! This is also a good method for old hair too!

OMG what do they do.. spray paint on the wefts?? I have 3 perfect Wefts in the sense that the wave & length match my hair perfect.. but i cannot seem to bleach the rusty-brien color out!! Help? 😩 ..I need them Lightest Ash blonde.

Tried this with 50v, no sun and it didn’t work.. maybe bc I didn’t put the bundles outside.

CurlyBeauty I waited 2 days & it still didn’t work. I ended up getting the powder bleach and doing it that way.

it doesnt colour without bleach unless your hair is completely unprocessed x some people go for stripping the hair first just in case but its easier to bleach if your hair is not completely virgin

@@CurlyBeauty no it was a full lace wig afro curly with 200% density, but i was stupid, i mean i putted developer, the wig in a plastic bag and i letted the whole pack under the sunlight without looking... x) the wig was blonde but gummy and with a burning smell

Jean C oh yeah especially when it’s really hot 😫I would’ve constantly checked! I learned my lesson too! My closure turned blonde too bc I wasn’t paying attention. I’m soo sorry that happened babe! I would try to say finesse it and work w what you got! But idk how bad the damage is

@@CurlyBeauty at least it works very well even on the lace but yeah i should have constantly checked the wig... the wig is now on the trash can :P I will pay attention next time
