An interesting question, Joey. Looking back I would choose to buy my home and to become more educated... Which is exactly what I did. Seeking fame was, and is the last thing on my mind. However, perhaps this is something I need to sell myself now?
I decided to put a lot of money, time and effort 20 years ago on personal development seminar. The only thing I would change is to want meet you 20 years ago learning Chinese metaphysics. Just learning 2 years from you have pivoting my life to a new direction. It’s interesting that a good life means harmonious relationship with self and other. Will add on to my own life. Thanks for lighting my life Joey 😊💪🏻
Thinking back now my definition of a good life back in university was living college life like telemovie that's how I tried to live. Now what I'm trying to achieve is starting a family living like the American dream
I m from Malaysia but live in USA for the past 18 years. Life is ok, I have two children. Boy is 27 and girl is 24. My husband passed away 5 years ago. Life is not the same after that. Don’t have saving so is paycheck to paycheck every month. Now I m 56 but still have to work because I don’t like to burden my family. I find life is empty because I don’t see how my future will be. I m not the person who like to express my feelings and thoughts. I don’t like people to see me as a weak person. One more thing, my two children are gay. In the eye of Asian, people told me I fail as a mother. I don’t tell people anymore. I m not ashamed of my children because I love them very much. I just wish my life is easier.
Thanks for your honest sharing Vanessa, it will get better, you just need to work harder through this challenging times. Just remember, you don't need to live on other people's terms, do better on yourself to prove your naysayers wrong.
Your comments on first having good relationships is spot on. I am sharing this with my family, friends and colleagues. Hope to create a harmonious environment to get through these difficult times!
A life that is full of gratitude , able to accept myself as who I am, can do anything I like, anywhere, with anyone I love at anytime. Body mind and soul are aligned!
Always feel refreshed waking up to your Telegram and RU-vid Videos. Harmonious energies within ourselves... And the idea of understanding those energy patterns. So important. Thank you
I like your definition of a good life. Other than being happy with yourselves snd having good relationships with others, I also like to think that I am born lucky and good opportunities come to me easily whenever I need them and I have angels watching over me and protecting me from harm. I have gone through a lot of events but always survived them with a great story to tell making my life very interesting.
Thank you for your helpful explanation of the importance of having true harmony in relation to yourself and others in order to achieve meaningful happiness in life, Dato. This is a lesson that I did not learn until much later in my life and I wish that I had learned it when I was much younger. I am doing my best to teach my children this wisdom while they are still young. Thank you for your help, as always.
Be harmonious with oneself... very true. Thank you Dato. I do believe our body is our ultimate life partner, not our loved ones. What we do to our body is our responsibility. The more we are harmonious with our body, it will come back to us. Yes?
Old Hippy, 🇦🇺 been looking into such matters since the '70s. Presently on staycation in Beograd 🇷🇸🐈( it's snowing) earth ox...) those who cannot bear their own company should not expect it of others🛂☯️

What is the good life to you? Thank you Dato Joey for another amazing sharing. This question - What is the good life to you? - is a deep question that may take quite a bit of “soul-searching” for some hahaha! For me, Good Life is about having and experiencing the “freedom” - a responsible freedom - in doing things that we love to do, with the people that matters. And where possible, you get to decide the timing. To enjoy this “freedom” and Good Life, we need to put in the energy in nurturing and taking great care, the few key aspects of our life - Fitness (Physical, Mental, Emotional, Spiritual, Financial), Career/Business & Relationships. The Good Life is about enjoying a combination/balanced of experiencing meaningful growth and achievement (some form vocational/career/business successes), meaningful contribution (some form of impact we had on our communities, including our employees/colleagues, as well as civic-responsibility) and yes, as you stated, a deep, meaningful relationships (with people that matters - inner-circles, friends, families, especially spouse and our kids). Great and timely reminder for me to continue to invest, nurture and live The Good Life - through mastery of Chinese Metaphysics like Date-Selection & Qi-Men!
How would you define a good life without children, for people who can’t have children or don’t want to have children? A lot of people seem to put down people who don’t have children and say that children is a “must-have” in life, more so than anything else.
