Well, isn't she being paid to look after people's homes and pets? I am sure it's not, just stay for free. Maybe she has a business of house sitting so it's like a corporation that earns money every month. She would have to be paid for her time. Maybe she has a pension too that she gets money from. Just guesses here.

Omg! Not at all!!! I have made so many friends around the world with many invitations to visit. I actually have more friends in Panama than in the US and with so many repeat sits its like a big old reunion upon each return.

Janet, when you're not in Boquete do you live in places where there is high humidity and heat? You clearly demonstrate you are highly successful at integrating into life there!
