Torres’ words are so inspiring. I am a college student and find your instruction about making foreign friends soooo true. Making acquaintance with a few international students gives me a glimpse into their unique culture. Meanwhile i realize that being genuine is the first step and maybe even all it takes to be friend with foreigners.
I am Spanish and I really enjoyed the video! Torres is a really wise and inspirational person, always exploring new cultures!! But I must tell everyone from Hong Kong that this kind of chill out good fun live that is in the video is only reserved for the holidays or days off work. Usually, in Spain and the rest of Europe, we work all day, just like everywhere !! We wish we had this type of life everyday!!
2nd Torres definitely inspired me a lot. You're always stepping out of the comfort zone. You made me think learning languages is something really fun. Haha I'll definitely join the lingoda course right after my dse!
well, living in Canada as an international student, I always love hanging out with the local, that helps me to immerse in the local culture. and even improving my language skill as well. like you said it's important to leave the comfort zone. seeking discomfort
Torres is so right about meeting new people from different cultures. When I'm studying abroad, I would have zero interest to eat my home country's food and hang out with people from my home country. Why did I came to different country at first place? To experience its culture, people and food I've seen exchange students who only stick together and only eat their home country's food
Though I didn’t notice your channel until last week ,I have watched your every video so far. Your videos are inspiring for me because I am a student in Taiwan and I want to practice my ability to speak in English. It is quite hard under the circumstances I am in right now. After watching your vlog and some foreigners had cultural and linguistic competitions. It made me clear that I can learn it anytime without any obstacles
I love the way you think and hold the attitude, sometimes i am inspired by you a 24 year old guy, I am 32 but always not be a ble to think out of box and be open minded, thanks Torres
hahaha that sentence "El perro de Rodrígo no tiene rabo porque Ramón Ramírez se lo ha robado" is really good to practise the R sound~~~, that reminds me of my Spanish friends tooooo!!!
Well, you can say it's a stereotype, but it is also the truth that the average heights of most of the Asian countries are lower than those of European countries
Can you do a video with domestic workers from countries such as Indonesia or Philippines? These people are much more abundant in HK than Europeans but unfortunately (in my opinion) are not seen as equals by the locals. I didn't think much of it when I was a child but now that I am an adult I do think it is a big social problem.
According to a new study from Harvard and the Asian Development Bank, Only 6.7 percent of the world's population are college degree-holders. Not everybody.
@@copa8 Oh YES ! You're right ! But there are more percentage of southern European and Mediterranean sea surrounding region's people can spell it than any other regions in the world ! Soy en Latina America ! Have a nice day !
Why are Filipinos called immigrants, but anyone from the west is called an expat? I'm from UK, living in HK. I describe myself as overseas born Chinese, it's a neutral description.
I'm spanish and all these sounds like the "r" that are difficult to pronounce for foreign people also make us speak so bad in english hahaha, the spanish accent when speaking english is really notorious.
Torres, can you suggest some English RU-vid channel for me? Expect yours, haha. Because i wanna improve my English. To be honest, your video really interesting and fun. Keep going and add oil!!
