I watched this video because it was the shortest one I saw. Explained everything perfectly and wasted no time. It's insane to think there are other videos twice as long as this or more explaining the exact same thing. Some folks just love the sound of their voice and it shows with tutorial videos... thanks for not being an egomaniac and caring about people.

Great video thank you very helpful, you mentioned that you can use a Power Point as the 'media in' can you use the PP as an 'immersive' experience as in see questions from an audience, play videos embedded in the PP or would it just be a static slide walk through? Cheers

thanks this is perfect, few questions 1. what kind of camera are you using to record? 2. do you need the ultra studio mini recorder? could you just plug the hdmi into the computer? isnt obs capturing everything. like say i wanted to run a rodecaster into obs for audio, and then a camera into the obs, would i need the ultra studio mini recorder still or does the computer record it all?

You'll definitely need a capture card to record and stream on OBS, the computer won't act as a video input without one. We use a variety of different cameras to record, it just depends on the type of work we're doing!

Great video, highly informative. Are there any tools which can handle the below scenario or something closer? To simultaneously with five options to interact on screen? for online sales? 1. Product line presentation, by person on camera, 2. Slides on the side, 3. Video demo or live demo of the product/recorded video if live stream have a problem 4. As per the need we used to switch with help of webpresenter between camera and laptop screen.. it does have an HDMI output, so you can output it to an encoder or a capture card, but it doesn't stream directly from the camera

This video was very useful. I would like to use a green screen in a different way and i've seen others do it but I have no idea how.They put a piece of green paper on a table and point a webcam on it. Then they record a video or livestream with an other camera filming a board game or something like that. When they want to show a card or small piece they just pick it up and place it on the green screen. It appears up close in the video and so they don't have to bring it to the camera or bring the camera to the board. I think it is some kind of overlay because the normal image is still visible in the background. Any idea how this can be done??

This was great. Did it for the first time after watching your video. The video I streamed hasn't shown up on FB yet - I can confirm that I could see the video on FB while live streaming. I was sure that all the right posting options were selected. Not sure if there is a longer lag time for video posting after the stream doing a Live via OBS rather than directly through FB... Let me know if there is anything you think I might be missing. It's been over 20 minutes since the live stream and video has yet to post.

sometimes the latency can vary when you're streaming from something like OBS, have you tried a different facebook page, maybe double check the RTMP settings? Seems like the RTMP address could be wrong?

Use an NDI Scan Converter if youre running the deck on a computer or NDI Capture (if running on iPad/iOS device). Bring into OBS (like a camera) ie Video Capture Device
