Bro I love shit like this. Niche videos where the creators passion for the topic is very evident and voiced really eloquently. Thanks for the awesome vid. U got a new sub brah!
Great Video!! I agree it’s kinda of annoying when lots of people tend to not really care or put any effort into the livery when it’s the most important part of the car, appearance is key!!
Well, come to think of it, the more people there are who don’t put enough care into their car liveries, the higher chance there is that you’ll get noticed if you have a cool livery. Just saying.
I love super flashy low cars with crazy liveries (rx7s especially), they're always exciting to look at driving and put the fun into the look of the car. The artwork is very admirable. But there are also many cases nowadays where people should stick to the less is more approach, or go find better inspiration from back then.
Hahah thanks man I appreciate you! I don't do any algorithm manipulation or bs. I want to build a genuine following/community. I would rather have 10,000 subs with everyone watching my videos than 100,000 subs with only 10,000 people watching the videos.
Thanks for the video! I'm looking at this so i can have an idea on how to make good liveries on my favorite game. I've really been a fan of the a~bo~moon team r32 liveries.
Thanks for the kind words Nick! Yea man, its actually pretty insane how consistent some of these ppl are. I think a big key factor I forgot to mention in the video as well is that the car needs to look great without the livery to look good with the livery.
really into wraps & vinyl designs at the moment (thinking about getting one for my cr-z) and i was doing research on how i’d make one myself & this is helpful
Great video man, it's kinda sad that this became niche in drifting. 2000/2005 japanese era of drifting is the source, the basics of livery and drift cars styling, I don't really like how pro cars nowadays tends to lack of the old school tuners look to lean toward the more nascar sponsor type livery style. Same for the stance and body kits used recently. But it's awesome to see that there's still people who love and know where all that came from and designers who continues spreading the legacy of old school drifting spirit.
what if i dont know who to go to, if i want to get a livery designed? like how do i do that? like i have a cool idea in my head but i dont know who to go to or what to do to bring it to life
@@Nick_Ramirez i wanted to do a Reaper looking forward in the rear quarter panel aggressive ofc with a list of sponsors i have. With a two tone ish ghost white grey with a ghost grey and phantom black for the reaper and sponsors being a oil slick black (glitter).
How would I or anyone get in contact with a Japan artist do you need connections email? Something like that I appreciate this video been wanting to get a nice livery on my car for a long time
There are plenty of awesome livery designers on twitter and instagram. It can be a hassle trying to work with someone you don't speak the same language as. check out bladeworks.th and trplstyle
