im trying to figure out how to basically stream but use the camera from my phone and use my computer to actually have everything set up but not having any luck so far seems like i can only stream from my phone and use those settings and stuff i dont actually get to control everything from the desktop app
thanks this helps alot, but i was wondering how to stop sharing a broadcast. i stopped broadcasting but the stream is still indicated as live, the chat is still working as well. please help
I literally cannot stream. I’ve been testing around all day and cannot start streaming. I start streaming through the screen record built into my iPad, and it goes for a few seconds then stops saying I didn’t pick a streaming location or smth. Please someone answer ASAP as I have a big stream starting in just 7 hours Edit: nevermind, I figured it out Edit AGAIN: thought I figured it out, but every time I hit “save” to start the test stream, it says that there’s insufficient authentication scopes or whatever
You need to create a scene and add the screencapture as a layer. To find this on android, go to the lines at the top left of the application > click scenes > Click create scene > Click a scene template or make one from new > you'll have to name the scene. Once created click on the Layers button top right >Add layer and you will see a Share screen option. That is the screen capture.

In streamlabs When I choose to go live nothing happened. I tried again then I got a message on my screen saying : "Failed to create RU-vid broadcast. please check your account. " And then a link abiut enable live stream on RU-vid? Also when I tried to use live stream button on RU-vid app it said something about "eligibility "?

Can you stream media from your phone , like a video from your gallery? I set up android to RU-vid through stream lab and can now do random live video but what if I want to play a video

Streamlabs was working perfectly for a while but recently every time I try and stream it cuts off after a few minutes and a message pops up saying “you started a invalid stream” or something like that, do you know how I can fix this?
From what I can figure. You must be using an IOS device (iPhone or iPad). This is caused by you entering an application during the screen broadcast that contains copyrighted content or the application explicitly blocks the use of the screen recording. When starting your stream don't slide down your device's screen (If it's an IOS) and give that a try. Cheers Shu!
If I'm djin on laptop while using phone as streamlabs. How do I get direct sound into my phone. Or do u need to use the obs studio on laptop to do that.
It says that I need to sign in on RU-vid after 11:59 Pacific Time. At the time I’m writing this, it’s like 5 AM (pacific time) and it’s not letting me sign in!
