A detailed look into Arriflex 16BL loading procedure which, in some ways, resembles working with Arri 35II camera. Hope you will find this video interesting and helpful. Let film never die!
@@jaydipbiswas4387 The film is called HUNTING FOR FISH. The trailer is on You Tube and Vimeo. The film is not on a public site because I have secured a distributor who will release it. It's coming soon!
With stock motors, such as BLE and EMP, crystal sync attachment is required. Exception is 1st version motor, which can't be crystal controlled. You can easly recognize this motor by forward/reverse toggle switch. Any later motor comes without it. Later 16BL cameras came with factory crystal motor, Arri code name was BLEQ. Here you can see how both BLE & EMP (crystal sync compatibile) look like: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0VaCblV-Nnw.html
The biggest difference is frame size, bigger image area = better quality & less grain. Of course shooting 35mm motion picture film is also more expensive. In fact everything related to 35mm is more expensive. Not only film stocks, but also camera gear, lenses, laboratory processing etc.
