That’s not a horrible sound. It’s beautiful. That just engaged the flux capacitor and took me back to my childhood. Good times. No worries in life. Miss it!
It's taken me back to my childhood, I managed to get a go when my brothers went to scouts, but as it took so long to load, they'd be back just as it had finished loading. lol.
I had to look when you uploaded your video I’ve just dug mine out the loft the Spectrum 128k +2A version it’s actually powered up after 35 years it’s seems to be loading games ok but there is a clicking noise when tapes playing might just be a dirt thing or maybe new belt needed lol Loving the background music 🫡
@@thesegaguru Ive bought it to test a game called "The evil dead", made by Palace software, it was never released for the spectrum due to the controversy over the video nasty releases of the 1980s, they included it as a free game on the B side of their other game "Cauldron". I never had a spectrum growing up, my friends did but I had a Commodore 64 and then an Amiga hence me not knowing how to load a game on a spectrum lol. Wouldn't mind playing "jet set willy" or "manic miner" though. 🙂
From what I understand, anything that can interface with the audio on this can load programs to it? People have loaded programs off of RU-vid videos.. I want to use my flipper zero and see if I can keep a bunch of audio programs loaded 😂
That video uploader is an absolute jerk he put the tape wrongly then there is no guerrilla war to show to nobody and finally he did not stopped the +2 DATARECORDER when right after loading freddy hardest
Yes indeed, turns out there was an error during recording and the original cassette had issues. Therefore the game had to change. Still a useful video for early users of the system. Thanks for watching ✌️
