Your title says How to locate and find crappie in April, wasn't very much on that, just a tree, creek, and bridge column. Nothing on what you look for or how to find
Don't get me wrong, I like watching your videos, I've been watching you since you started. I'm just saying , it would be nice to be more informative like, what do you you look for? Do you use navionics? And look for areas show and tell what it is you do to locate them. I look in all depths and structure and have a hard time finding them, I see bait but no crappie. Why is it that the 10 to 15 feet of water with structure not producing like the 10 to 15 ft you're fishing. I'm only a weekend fisherman and don't get to go every weekend. It would be nice to know how to eliminate body's of water to up my chances of catching some. Thanks for reading and hopefully you'll be able to help a fellow crappie fisherman out.
As long as you have been crappie fishing I'm surprised you don't know when spawn is in north Texas. We are dead middle of spawn right now, back of creeks 1-5ft of water beat the banks. End of March through April ..
I had the exact same kind of day myself! The spots that were ideal just had nothing on them and then when i found some fish they were all small… guess you got to have days like that once in a while
This happens a lot this time of year. You can be in the right spot but just not there at the right time. It is time consuming searching for fish right now
