I had the same issue with the back of my hair not growing and realized it was because the comb i was using was breaking it and actually switched to the tangle teezer too which does wonders for my hair :)
Hey Ahanhbarbie, just wondering do you use heat on your hair often? like daily? I use heat on my hair a lot but I am trying really hard to grow it out, it seems as though your hair is growing very well! would like your advice on that.

You can add oil to hair after water! The water will moisturize and the oil will hold in the moisture and still be able to penetrate the hair shaft. Without water, your hair will just be seriously oily. On a daily basis, you can use slight water and a small bit of oil but for a deep treatment, apply only the oil and wrap your hair so your natural body heat will add moisture. Wash out the next morning. Hope this helps!
+Girly Gamer Cutting your hair can actually speed up growth since the oldest parts, the ends, are healthier and not splitting! If your hair has split ends and you don't cut them, you end up doing much more damage overall cause even when your hair is growing, it will be breaking off at the ends. Hope this was helpful!
+Mariama Kanu exactly i trim my hair 1/4 of an inch or less every single month since i know hair grows and average of 1/2 a month ....that way my ends are always healthy and still grow ...if you cut more youre not going to see growth whatsoever so you need to make sure you cut less than what its growing .....obviously you dont need to do it like me everysingle month but you can do it every 2 to 3 month cut a 1/4 of an inch and your hair should be growing healthy without splitting all the way up ( las year on june I cut a neck bob and my hair is right on my boobs and its almost passing them lol and i cut it every month 1/4 of an inch
When I was in college, I dyed my hair and used hot tools a lot. Now that I use hot tools in a blue moon and stopped dyeing my hair, it is long like I used to have it in high school, if not longer.
