Great tips. I just recently learned to inspect everything thoroughly, I’ve been burned a couple of times when I didn’t do that. I got two skirts from a supplier I used before and when I went to steam them, I noticed one had a tear and one had what looked like a series of little burn holes, like from possibly brushing off a hot cigarette ash. Now, I don’t remove the tags until I’ve gone over everything carefully. I think it’s disgusting how many people wear things for one event or photo shoot, then return them. I don’t buy polyester tops because I can’t stand the overheating and lack of breathability, but I will in a loose, floaty skirt, if viscose isn’t available.
I have that dress that is too tight on you. It was my Easter dress last year. Mine was actually a little too big, but I figured the belt would help with the fit. I felt like an Easter egg in it... I received many many compliments on it and wore it to a school function a few weeks later. Everyone loves it. The fabric is lovely against my skin.
I absolutely love your style, and all the beautiful dresses!! You definitely display such proper, classy, functionable tips to help and encourage everyone look their best!!
As a non-drinker, I can’t stand the smell of vodka, so I use rubbing alcohol instead, diluted 1:1 with water, works great. I’d rather smell like the doctors’ than a bar.
Everything I buy from Amazon is cheap quality fabric even highly reviewed items. They always disappoint me. I feel like you can get better stuff on sale at Loft, Express, Abercrombie, Aerie and H&M
Just found your channel. New subbie 💗💗💗 very helpful. Will watch other videos I definitely want the geometric dress the most bc it looked amazing !! & need a fabric shaver too. Ok I want it all btw girl no need to tell us you’re not preg you’re the tiniest thing w the best figure!!! Could you do a most comfortable sandals slides shoes video? 🥿👠👡👟 thank you have a gorgeous day edit: ty for giving your size btw we are almost exact spot on. I’m just 8.5 in shoes.
I purchase Amazon clothing now almost exclusively. The main problem I have with some of the pieces is the smell. To me it smells like a very strong chemical cleaner solution- very harsh. A couple of pieces, the smell didn’t wash out! I’ll try the fabric freshener spray. Thank you.
Girl, you are killing me with your "Invisalign lisp" & #notpregnant 😂 Do you find the sticky bra to be tts? I've seen some sticky bras recommend sizing up a cup size for the best fit. I've never owned a sticky bra but am definitely investing in one this year so I can actually wear my tops that are currently just looking cute on the hanger 🤷.
I bought the tiered floral dress and it looks like good quality. Any suggestions to get the static out of the slip? I feel I’m going to be tugging at it all the time.
Which steamer do you have (jiffy) plastic head or metal head? Do either make a difference? I really want it but want to consider which one is better since it’s on the pricier side.
I remember replying to this but I don't see it so I'm sorry if you get this twice! I have the plastic head. I didn't want the metal because I thought it would get too heavy!
Checked the links specifically for the David yurman dupe 😭. Do you have any recs for a good yurman dupe from Amazon? There’s lots to choose from but I never know which one to order.
That hasn’t always happened when I ordered swimwear but something I wanted to let everyone know about before they pack something last minute for a vacation or don’t look at it closely ahead of time!
I enjoyed the video, but how to look more “expensive” really rubbed me the wrong way and seemed extremely superficial. Something along the lines of, how to style Amazon pieces would have sufficed.
Those words never came out of my mouth but I'm sorry you feel that way. I wear Amazon, Walmart, and other affordable clothes all the time. I think there are helpful ways to make affordable clothes look more expensive than they are and that's what I talked about in this video.
