Thanks, I managed to tighten mine accidentally, this helped me. Mine did have a protection, the plastic barrel thing had a plastic insert, so twisting it needed additional pressure or it would just spin in place.
Blessings on your day and we would sure love if you subscribed. So I've come across those wristbands before. Squeezing on it allowed you to twist the inner portion? I did not try that
Hi, I have a problem with this. I have the wristband with extra protection and it didn't come off even with two people. I don't want to break it and at the same time I don't want to wear it anymore
Thank you for your service. I haven't been to a music festival since the original Lollapalooza when all you had was a ticket stub. I just opened my packet for Mothership 2024 and the bracelet fell out. I didn't realize it wasn't adjustable and didn't see the reminder not to try on the band until it was too late. Festival mates sent me here.
Thank you bro. It's five in the morning over here and I was losing my shit after realizing I was gonna be stuck in this thing for three more days. Totally worked! FYI for anyone who's alone trying to get theirs off: I used pliers to twist the thread, then jammed the pliers in a drawer so it couldn't move. After that I twisted the plastic piece down the thread until it became loose enough that I could take the wristband off
I'm at a Con and the band got too tight in the shower on my last day. I put the tightly twisted ends in my mouth and the brad backed right off. This fix worked better than a charm!!
Hi, thanks for the clear explanations! I was struggling tying the band with one hand, so I attached the 2 ribbons end to my drill, and tied (carefully of course) : it worked like a charm!
You rock, took me 20 seconds alone. You can hold it with your teeth if you're alone when you're twisting it. I know you couldn't do that because of the camera, just sharing what helped me
Ok, question... I put mine on in a month advance because I never seen these things, I thought cool you can reloosen it. Now, I have to wait a month until the festival... How can I get it off and still make it tight again for the festival. I think if you do it like that you break the teeth that grabs.
I couldn't get it to work. Wish I did but had to cut it :( Now hoping they don't give me a problem about buying a replacement. So annoyed that they literally gave no noticeable wording not to put it on.
@@CasaBacon it didn’t work cause of how they designed the fastener unfortunately, they designed it so that the teeth inside spin separately from the outer casing on the plastic fastener :( I guess imma have to keep it on till Saturday, I hope they still let me in 🥺I still appreciate the help!
@@DrBaconCommunity an insane experience. I lost my voice, got rained on but thankfully I can say I survived a Playboi Carti mosh pit without any injury which is surprising for how wild it was constantly and he has a known reputation for having some brutal moshpits
@@CasaBacon Im in the UK, my girlfriend and I went to Nass festival last month and we kept our wristbands on. Before I search your video up I accidently made her wristband really tight and she didnt want to cut it off so we found your video and managed to loosen it! We're going to boomtown festival in 7 days :D
@@codyalmeida7270 blessings Cody and don't stress it. We have a new video coming out in a few days. We are at Mondegreen. New wristbands looks like you need to cut the slots before you can twist it.
Yea it didn’t work for me either but another way to do it is putting like a small piece of duck tape or scotch tape on the wristband infront of the tightener, then push the tightener up so that it goes on top of the tape and then you’re gonna either try to pull the end of the wristband out through the tape or if you can push the tape down all the way off of the wristband! It works if you do it right 100%
