This is one of my “go to” movies. Apparently people with anxiety like watching the same things over and over because they don’t need to worry about what happens at the end. If I’m looking for a movie to pass the time, a rainy day movie, sit on the sofa and chill movie, this is it. I couldn’t tell you how many times I’ve watched it. I love it.

A lot of people used to look down on Matt for only doing rom-coms earlier in his career, but he shows here that they require just as much forethought and dedication from an actor. He took those roles seriously, and that's why his rom-coms are still fondly thought of today.

I absolutely despise his performance in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past, he was a Bostonian with a Southern accent, he never makes an effort to adopt the accent of the character he plays, I don’t get it. Lazy and annoying.

Guilty as charged! Have watched "Ten days" 5x and will probably watch it another 5 in the coming years. Such a clever script...and Brilliant comedic timing by both of you. So true how the movie pulls us in but what I love most is the feeling of intense happiness once the credits start rolling. If ever a romcom could win an Oscar this would be the one!

Just finished Green Lights. Touched this 50 year old male (married 35 of those) from Texas North (Alberta) deeply. Wish I could share a glass of Alberta Rye whisky with you some day and share some similar thoughts life has showed me as well.I will say that Burden+Purpose=Fulfilment and 50 years of life has shown me that two of the three need to be part of the equation before moving forward on any decision destined to take up any of my sweet precious time. Thanks again Mr. McConaughey for your transparency and honesty within the pages of your book.

Mailbox money is important in that industry! My brother is a music orchestrator and he's often given the choice between getting credit for his work or getting residuals. He always chooses the residuals. It drives me nuts that he can't have BOTH, but residuals are important for all the people living paycheck-to-paycheck in the industry.

SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS MOVIE! I remember continuously laughing out loud at the theatre, to the point my husband was hiding in his seat. And the "Does Princess Sophia want to come out and play?" LOLOLOL. I laughed so hard you could hear it across the theatre. I have it on DVD and will watch every single time it's streaming. One of the few movies that will actually make me laugh at the same jokes, over and over again. I say you should do a sequel? I want to see what Andie and Benjamin are up to today!

That first season just outshines anything that series has to offer period. Those two set the bar so high, no one else can follow and I'm pretty we all could tell after a few episodes in, there was no way this series was about to offer anything on par to what that first season held. That was above Class A entertainment. It was in a league of its own.

@@vitoguido3258 agree. The last two seasons were crap. I wonder if it made the writers realize that maybe they should have just stuck with two characters rather than go the American horror story route and do different characters and settings each season.

@@natechenry Well, actually my question is how long did it take the writer to put it all together? To my understanding the first season is entirely written by the same guy, the actual creator, I believe. If it took him five or ten years, it shows. And given the content, it's something that probably should have been a movie, but we got something better: an 8 hour movie that takes the time to flush its story out that most people wouldn't have the patience for in typical movie fashion, though these super hero movies are pushing the limit of their audiences attention span, so maybe the days of a Casino or Once Upon a Time in America or The Godfather, Part 2 aren't obsolete yet. Regardless, no matter how long it took him, you gotta remember what you signed up for. In typical network fashion, they're gonna expect this level of writing every year and the odds of that much focus and detail is pretty slim to say when you were nobody and had all the time in the world. If written by multiple writers, as I'm sure AHS and Fargo are, anthology series is actually a pretty cool concept. It does take cinema storytelling to a whole new level. It's not quite a TV series, but it ain't a movie either. Anyways, though, I guess my point is there's a lot that went into making the first season what it was, on top of A-list actors setting a tone, that we will probably never have another season quite that good ever again cause the amount of time for that to happen is nonexistent, nevermind the lives these people lead outside their craft, which is obviously everchanging with their rise in fame.

It was at this point in his career, with subsequent releases, I feared he would be typecast, which would have been a shame to waste such talent. Cause when Matthew wants to, he has much range that rivals any of the other greats. Will always be a Top 10 for me.

When I was pregnant with my son, who is will be 17 in August, *cough*cough* - I bought this on DVD. I was at home, on bedrest due to pregnancy complications, and I watched this over and over and over again for weeks. I still have the entire movie memorized & my 15 year old daughter watches it on repeat now, too. Not my favorite of your movies, that honor goes to Dallas Buyers Club, my definitely the one I have watched the most.

All I could say about that movie was like"it's a really good fun movie" and the he comes and talks about it in ways I haven't even thought about. What a great actor. This industry is so fantastic and complex. So many things have to be on point for a movie to be successful; script, actors, editing, music, scenery, fashion, makeup, hair and the list goes on. He and interstellar deserved more Oscars. Specifically for his acting in the movie. It makes me cry everytime I watch it, I keep on wanting a dad like Cooper. The movie not getting the number of Oscar it desreved, made me lose my respect for the award. The movie is legendary and his acting, the whole crew's acting is brilliant.
