The shakedown sail is on! But not without its dramas. We nearly lost our anchor and chain to the sea this week. That would not have been a good start to our shakedown sail.

Wicked is a hurricane damaged 2009 Beneteau Oceanis 43. She is the 3 Cabin 3 head version and was chartered by the moorings at the beginning of her career. We plan to sail her around the Caribbean and possibly the west coast of the Americas. We are in no rush to get there as we are into slow travel and is a big reason we chose to live on a sailboat.
