Old detailer trick. Use 0000 steel wool to scrub and polish the glass. It will not scratch and makes the glass look new. Then clay bar and glass cleaner. Been doing this for years. Hope this helps. Louvers look great.

I have a black camaro too. That in itself is a hard task so adding one more thing shouldn't be to bad but ill find out when I put this on my car tomorrow.

I just put these on my Camaro yesterday also!!! Mine didn't come with instructions or the metal nuts. I didn't know what to do with the foam tape... Now I do. Thank you for the awesome video!!! Wish I could show you my car!

I really wanted Maplefed to say in a lowered voice, "I'm Batman" when you asked him what he thought of them. Personally, I've never been a fan of louvers, but they look pretty decent on Maplefed's car especially with that ZL1 wing.

I watched your video and then figured out a much easier way to do the entire install and entirely without any helper. Came out perfect. I only wish I had video recorded my installation to show how easy it can be done alone.

I do like these more than other 6th gen. I had louvers on my 5th gen, from MRT (Mustang Racing Tech of all places lol). What was great about those, that they where aluminum, and they hinged at the top, so you could open them up and clean under them at a car wash or anywhere. I cant seem to find that anymore. I wonder when MRT or if they decide to make them for the 6th gen.

Question, I love the look that louvers gives especially to a darker colored car. With that said, I have a 2019 Camaro I've been thinking about adding louvers to BUT I live in Florida and it gets hot as balls here. Would the adhesive melt off and send the louvers flying or falling off the car? Especially if I park in direct sunlight?

It's really easy. All you have to do is unscrew all the bolts and take them off and leave the mounting plates on the window. Wash it and put it back on.

@Lethal How do those blacked out tail lights look on the black SS in person? I've been trying to decide for months whether or not to get them on my black 2SS. I did get the blacked out third tail light which looks so much better, it's just something about those black tail lights look tacky on the black Camaro. I can't decide. They do look good on white!

I noticed your white Camaro has an aftermarket spoiler while your black one has a wing, without knowing too much about each specific car, which do you think is more effective in terms of keeping the car planted? Im trying to decide weather I want a wing or spoiler, I think the bigger spoilers look better but I question how effective they really are in comparrison to just getting a wing

I followed all the same instructions and when I screw the louver to the mounting plates they got ripped off the glass. I needed to have one guy push down on the plastic while I screwed in the bolt since the screw is so short and as soon as we got the screw to thread it pulled it right off the glass.

LethalGarage didn't chevy say that in order to put it on any Camaro besides the zl1 1le you you needed a reinforced trunk lid? Because the zl1 1le has a reinforced trunk lid to support the extra down force pressure
