Hi! After getting rid of the shine and filing the nail, if I want to use a color gel polish would I still need a base coat or would I go straight with the color?

No Base Coat is necessary. Just go right in with your gel color 😊

what brush do you use to apply this? and what color is this?

I use the gel brush from Ugly Duckling and the color is called ''Drive''.

Greetings, So you find that you could use CND Shellac over top?

Yes, you can use any color polish or gel polish you would like just remove the tacky layer with some isopropyl alcohol first and give the nail a quick buff and you are good to go.

Gels N Gems Nails, Hello, thank you for the response Does it mean I top coat with the same CND top coat as well? Or I try with Luminary top coat Over top CND Shellac. What do you think?

I would use the CND top coat over the CND color for sure.

Gels N Gems Nails makes sense, chemistry. I wondered if it was like a sandwich effect, but where you remove the tacky, you now have new chemistry. Thank you 😊
