Definitely a lower elo problem. Here in Gold people seems to clear every single corner TWICE. No seriously if there's 2 people moving both of them will clear the same corner. Like WTF.. I always lol'd when we do Dish push on Bind and everyone in front of me are clearing that corner near ramps religiously. It's as if there'll be enemy magically popped over there if we stare at it hard enough.
@@Hakuraaa I mean I will definitely clear corner if the guy in front of me doesn't.. It's like "okay dude you focus front now I'll cover you" which is valid and I did that a lot. But we're shift walking, through dish.. SHIFT WALKING!!! all 4 shift walking and checking the same corner... I lol'd really hard back then but then I had a realization, that this is how I get cleared every time I lurks on common angle. Like if there's someone in that corner and the front guy DID miss him... the second guy will clear it.. and if he doesn't the 3rd 4th guy will.. and now he got 4 muzzle pointing at them and it traumatized them... or rather me. In higher Elo this kind of thing probably will happen less and less but I don't blame this guy if he still retain this bad habit from elo climbing
this guide was so successful that not only did i get two on my lurk, my rizz was so high that the third guy turned around and proposed to me. after i spent 4 years happily married with 3 children, my team managed to win the round in the 4v2 while i distracted him
I can't express how strangely hilarious it was when you said "Alright, kill him." in the Pearl clip and JeyG just executes him on the spot within half a second. LMAO
6:06 this is actually such underrated advice, the way you word things is the difference between winning and accidentally tilting your teammates and losing 11-13, managing your teams mentals is such a big part of the game
same! every single game I get on icebox, I always look at the clock at 132 then place my crosshair on the entrance tube and I got 1 on 2 different rounds. they didn't expect I'm holding it lmao. I also need to incorporate the pearl timing. I'm incorporating the haven one on mid defense as soon as the barrier goes down.

This guy learning how to comm properly is probably going to end up improving how he interacts with people in general. Its always super hard listening to someone try to make calls when they have no idea how to talk to people

You break down plays so well, you're my favorite coach atm. I been watching your stuff here and there since I came back from a long 2 month + hiatus. I placed in d2 and climbed to asc 1 in a week. I really like how you mentioned to this player he was being passive aggressive on the mic, this is a problem I see a lot in ranked and is a mostly unconscious behavior that lowers the vibe in a lobby, which is not conducive to wins. Besides just strategy, mechanics, comms, etc. I really like that you get into the psychological stuff. I'd credit you a lot, there were some games and situations during my climb where I felt like your guidance came into play. Makes me think what would happen if I took it seriously and had you watch my vods 🤔. Great content.

I have a question, may be too much text but still - I play controler and I struggle often on defense specially vs very aggresive teams and i feel like i waste or missplace so many of my smokes.. could you make a video on effective smoke use? Such as timing or lineups? Lineups are probably too tedious so maybe just generic tips for all maps and smoke placement Thanks in advance!
Idk if this is important but he has some ability effect settings set to high quality and in his POV, it's making his Viper walls block more vision on the bottom part, if he was up against someone with that setting on low, they would be able to see him through that

If you want to learn the mechanics, there's a "gold in 30 days" guide from woohoojin that gives a basic training routine for beginners. There is then a gold+ aim training guide.
Omg kids like this attitude. I`ve seen all your videos (and many more from other coaches) and it`s soo annoying that most players have same attitude. If i have team with mature players I have 90% win rate but moment guys like them fill my team, I`m just loosing temper. How hard it is to have some basic manners? ask politely, talk normal, but yah, somehow that skills is long gone...

Unless you're doing a super ratty angle (like squatting at sculpture on A mains Pearl) I would feel uncomfortable if I don't hit them first here. Definitely a bad habit to be broken but that can wait after I get good enough to escape Gold
Trust me it's better to build the good habit now. I've seen enough Gold gameplay on my streams to tell you that you're highly unlikely to die going for 2. "Highly unlikely" doesn't mean 0%, but your expected value is definitely higher going for two than cashing out on one. Also it's cooler.
at 9:05 when he peeks screens to get the 3rd frag, I get that it isn't a 50/50, but didn't you say in your other guides that sometimes its fine to take fights even with man advantage (in this situation it was a 5v2), or does that only pertain to duelists who're attacking sites and want to play aggressive (but in these situations, its not guaranteed to be a 50/50 fight right?)? 7:47 To be honest I got to disagree with you here I have been playing your viper default method and teammates are not screaming at me but they are very visibly frustrated and start playing worse because of it and I'm not being toxic(i have literally been told I am one of the least toxic people out there) nor do I have ego but sometimes it is just better to give your teammates what they want because their mental cannot handle other teammates using util on anyone but their immediate needs.
