My man saved me i was happy but. I disassembled it and rebuilt it i pressed the trigger and it got stuck on full auto then it became a coffe grinder😂😂😂😂😂
Thank u so much u saved my ass. Opened my lancer gen 3 and things came loose as soon as i broke open the gearbox housing, springs everywhere. O thought i would not be able to reassemble d thing. I HAVE ZERO background in aeg. Thanks again
Almost exactly the same except you need to hold your piston cylinder down with 1 finger when you go to open your shell so your spring doesn’t make your whole box explode
Hi, I know this video has some time but I have a question about the alignment of the gears. Do I have to place them in a particular way or no matter what they will always work with the piston? Because I noticed that the one connected to the piston has some "thooths" missing. I know that's what releases the piston but, do I need to place that particular gear in a specific way to complete its full cycle? Thanks!
It doesn't matter what position the spur gear and bevel gear are placed (make sure they go back in the same holes on the gearbox) with the sector gear I like to have it set so the piston is fully inside the cylinder and the the first tooth of the piston is touching the first tooth on the sector gear. Hope that makes sense
Would this gear box fit in a black ops viper m4? It looks like the one I have but mine didn’t have the plate for the fire selection and idk why. On mine I opened the gear box and the little plastic piece above the trigger that moves to complete the circuit for the motor kept pushing up and making the trigger get stuck.
Hello! I’m currently attempting to repair my backup m4. However, the parts in my upper receiver are messed up. For example, my charging levers spring isn’t going back into the right place, and a part of my dust cover fell off. The tutorials on m4s have helped me in the past, however I can’t figure out how I can repair it and what parts I need to buy. Would you know of anything that I may need to buy or tips to fixing it?
The charging handle spring can be a pain to do. You just need to keep on trying to get it in the right place. As for the dust cover what part came off?
Thanks for the guide. I have the same gearbox, but after assembly its on safety on both safe and semi, and only fires on auto. Any idea on whats going on?
Sounds like the selector plate isn't lined up properly with the selector on the lower body, as for the full auto only. Could be a few things. Either the little spring has come off on the selector plate or the cut off has worn down that it's not breaking the connection when it shoots. Thoes would be the first things I would check
Hello really nice video! I have a problem that i never seen before. My Gearbox/Shot cycle is messed up. My spring is basically compressed all the time. I rebuild it multiple times and checkt everything that could be. Any Idea ?
@@DTWAIRSOFT No, I can shoot all day long. Full Auto and Semi, no problem. I also don't have a feeding Issue. But After a Shot cycle, my Piston is in a half compressed state. When I shoot full auto, sometimes it's completely compressed. So my Motor doesn't stop when it needs to after a shot.
Could someone please recommend some good upgrades for the lancer tactical lt-19 m4 carbine gen 2. I have a Prometheus purple bucking which made a noticeable difference but I'd like to get a mosfet for better trigger response but I dont know what to get and I'm on a budget. Please help
@@Hammer-of-Judgement not that your response is relevant to the question I asked but I hate to tell you. Your wrong. Since i made that post I've done a few modifications and i couldnt be happier with its performance. Would recommend one as a start replica, especially if you plan to upgrade it yourself and learn the ins and outs. Only issue I've had is the selector plate jamming a few times but putting it in full auto with a quick burst and semi works again.
Hello mate! Currently taking my M4 apart and the body pin above the trigger refused to come out to correct way. Hit on the other side and it went half way through, and it now refuses to go back in or out. Any advice?
Try removing everything else until it's just that pin left. It should give you some movement from the gearbox to allow you to line it all back and knock it through the other way. Hope that does it for you. Sometimes you just have to give them a good whack with a hammer and punch (watch your fingers)
@@DTWAIRSOFT Everything has been removed but I still cannot get it back aligned no matter how much I move the gearbox around. Is it not possible at all to remove it so it comes out the side of the selector?
@@darrannnn you can try pushing it through. It can be done but because of the barbed end of the pin you are going to have a hard time getting it out that way
@@darrannnn im not really sure if we have the same issue but i found out that you can try to flip your selector switch lock to semi because the groove on the selector plate is blocking the way for the gearbox to sit snugly on the lower receiver, again im not sure if this is helpful or not but give a try. Just do it gently
this video didnt cause it b ur my guns gearbox just completely was in shambles after trying to disassemble it just all popped out…didnt even get the chance to hold it together after unscrewing and havent been able to get it back together all day. ended up throwing the whole fucking gun away
Hey, first build maybe this is a stupid question, but doesnt the orientation of the sector gears teeth have to somehow be aligned with the piston teeth? Do you just put it so they barely engage or?
