This is too good but as you mentioned that we can do the customize attachments for different email, can you guide how to do this in the case when different attachments are in different folders.
Kevin, this is incredibly helpful, thank you! One thing I learned the hard way: there is a row limit of 256 unless you do this. In the List rows in a table step, click the 3 dots to get to settings. Turn pagination on, and then up the limit to what you need.

How many mails we can send using office365 school mail id? 2. How can I send certificate as attachment with dynamic fields inside, say for example how can I send certificate or selection letter as pdf attachment. Hi Kevin, thanks for the tutorial. I got everything right when i tried it, except for the attachment. Though i attached a jpeg, .docx or pdf file, I always receive an attachment with no file type. Any idea what would cause this ?

At times there are multiple mails which are addressed to the same individual, however, as a best practice, it is preferred to not send multiple mails to the same person and club all the information in one mail before shooting the mail. Is there a way that can be automated ?

I know this is an older video, but a couple of things stand out for me. 1. 17:59, the date in the email subject isn't displayed as a date, rather it's displayed as the 5 number code. 2. Is there a way to send multiple mail merges based on your last send. ie: you have a registration list in excel that's automatically updated by Forms. You want to send a mail merge at the end of each day to only the newest registrations (you've already sent emails to the previous registrants). Each day, between 8-10 new registrations are received and I only want to send emails to those new entries. 3. How do we send custom attachments? Unfortunately, when I want to choose my table this error pops up: Could not retrieve values. The dynamic invocation request failed with error: The request is forbidden by Graph API. Error code is 'AccessDenied'. Error message is 'Could not obtain a WAC access token.'. what would you suggest?

In your example here, it would the invoice itself ! ;-) => need to have the same-4-all-ms-word template (certificate) being filled with the same-spreadsheet-data-mergefield, and being included/attached in the merged-email. My account is business, and in action "linking it to the outlook," I am unable to sign in and get the error that says, "Connection creation/edit of 'shared_outlook' has been blocked by Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy 'Default.'". Checking my policies, it says, "You can only view policies, but you will not be able to edit or create a new policy since you do not have admin privileges to any environments in this tenant." :(. Is there any other way you would suggest? I am also using a Mac and cannot use the add-in you recommended in the other video.
Hi Kevin, I have been using this setup to do mail merge for years , however , from the start of April 2024, it no longer work with free power automate account ( I have office 365 personal ). It asked me you log in using work or school account. Is there any other way to use this set up without using work or school account ? Would buying a power automate license do the job? (The problem is it no longer let me connect to excel spreadsheet store in OneDrive anymore)
Im having a "simple" mail merge issue - I am trying to make flashcards term on onside def on back... I mail merge using and avery 5388 with "term" on page one so it goes term 1, term 2, term 3. then on page 2 I do definition but on page 2 definition starts definition 4, definition 5, definition 6. when it should be definition 1,definition 2,definition 3. what code can i place at the begining of page 2 so it will start with row 1 and i can do front and back

Hi Kevin, whilst using Power Automate for mail merge, the emails were sent successfully but the personalised attachments could not be opened in PDF file. The message generated is "Adobe Acrobat Reader could not open file because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and was not correctly decoded". I should be grateful if you could help out. Thank you

Hi Kevin, I am an Exec Admin in a corporation and support someone who I am a delegate to, and am trying to do an email merge as if sending from her account...like I can regular emails. I see that I can change the 'From' sender to her name, yet I receive an error message stating that I don't have permission to send on her behalf...when I know that I normally am able, is there another setting specifically for Power Automate that I need to ensure is populated? hi Kevin and many thanks for this truly useful video as i have to send a bulk of emails every month with an attachment. the only difference to your video is that i have to send a different attachment to each recipient. i tried adding the attachment column of my excel file (which has the OneDrive link of each file) in the advance options of the attachments section but while testing, the only attachment a get is blank one which appears to be corrupted/wrong size. file is working just fine if i open it from the root folder. so i just wanted to know what i am doing wrong and if you could shed some light as how to make this work.
Kevin, can you add conditions to Mail Merge. For instance, I have students in different course and I want to send them different attachments. Also, I have a column for status. If course A and status = 1 send course A email plus attachment 1, and so on.
I am sending e- mails every week to check in with new adopters from the dog rescue that I volunteer with. I include a link to a folder in a google drive with files about recommended trainers, how to register their microchip, etc. The list of adopters is in airtable, so I first copy and paste that into a source doc in excel and then my letter is in word. What you have demonstrated here seems like a lot of extra steps just to get a custom subject line. Also, by sending a link to the files, we can make updates or add files and they would have access to those, rather than a static attachment. Would there be any other advantage to running it through PA instead of just doing it from word that I have not considered?

The problem with this tutorial is that Kevin only provides one option, that you must use One Drive to make this process work. If you store your files in DropBox, then this video is not for you.
What if we want the attachment to be unique to a specific person/ company. Does power automate have the capability to search for the unique attachment within a folder and select the relevant attachment for that person/company? Also great video!
Fantastic video, however I would just like the email to be sent always and only from the last row of the table. At this point it sends all the emails, but I just wanted the last line email. All this because I am receiving the orders by email, the data is put in an Excel sheet, the orders are numbered and the sender receives an email with the order confirmation and the order number.
I am not able to copy/insert a table to the body of the email. Looks like you can only add plain text. Am I missing something? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Great tutorial, Kevin- how would this work if you had more than one line for a customer, say they bought two different types of cookies, so two lines in the table for each customer? Would they get 2 emails each?

Great stuff, but I have a few questions: When all those emails are sent, are they also left in the "sent items" folder of the mail account? If they are left in "sent items", can this be changed for merged emails but not for emails i send manually? Regardless of the above, can a summary report be created to show to whom the emails were sent? If i filter the table in the spreadsheet, will the email be sent only to those not filtered out? If not, can the mail merge be made conditional on one or more of the fields?
@@MAURICEMD44 in the meantime I have used Microsoft Word to send emails to addresses given in an excel file. Same issue, though with all of the outgoing messages being saved in "sent items. Can't seem to use outlook rules to handle them differently in real time, but have a rule I can run after the fact to move them all to another folder.

This works really well - one issue I am having though. When a new form response populates on the excel doc, an email is sent to every form response previously populated on the excel doc. Is there a way to set this up so only the latest form response generates an email?
It's a pity this isn't built into word. Having to first save the individualised pdfs for each person, then do a separate mail merge is annoying and a double step that increases the chances of error
