I’ve done this. Great business with the right structure. The issue is the big guys putting in new machines in premium locations…ie the money locations.
So quick math. $15k/27 machines= $556 gross or $361 net per machine. Costs $2k per machine. So you profit $2,332 per year or $194/machine for first year. After that you make $4332/yr per machine. To make $100k need to find 23 locations and set machines up. Not bad if it can be done in a short time. 20 hours a week seems like alot for one job esp if you have other side hustles/ jobs
You're not even interviewing the actual guy who owns the vending business. You're interviewing a guy who interviewed a guy who owns a vending business and taking his word as 100% true. I'd love to interview the ACTUAL GUY who owns this business. I know the questions to ask. I'd grill him, make him look silly, and get the TRUE story of what he actually makes from his vending machine business.
I mean to each their own, I only do vending for my job, I work about 2 hours a week and make roughly 60-80k a year. A guy I know makes roughly 1mil a year of his vending
@@jeremiahdickson569 not sure how you don't think it's possible? Have you talked to other vendors in your area? Could depend on your locations, prices your selling at? Maybe your not charging commission for locations, could be hundred different reasons your not making that much? My vending company makes anywhere from a low 3k to a high 4k a month..
I’m interested in getting into the vending business. I’ve owned other businesses in the past, but looking for something more passive. Could I reach out to you for more info?
Had a Pizza Vending Machine that was going to be put into my hospitals here in New Mexico, but the machine from China ended up having so many technical issues.
Same thing you do if you own a convinience store and someone robs it, see if you can get insurance and check on it often. If it happens too many times, you'll probably need to move there machine or put bars on it to prevent theft

Hey everyone, I might be able to get you info on key locations that are under construction and not opened yet so you can engage them before anyone else does. (Warehouses, hotels, schools, offices, apartments, dormitories, etc.) I'm a Senior Analyst in the construction industry and I mainly work with building contractors who want data on projects in their markets, but I'm trying to see if this would be useful to others as well. Hit me up for more info. I tried linking my website but my comment gets removed.
