Greg Mercer is such a cool guy. Not because of what he has accomplished, but his down to earth, fun cool guy personality is awesome. I totally appreciate his back story and the valuable content. Thank you for the video.
I started selling my supplement line on Amazon. It cost me a lot of money to have have the supplements manufactured, labeled etc and now that I am on Amazon, my products are barely moving. I hired someone that did my SEO, but then you have to pay a lot of money to Amazon per product so that your product is even seen. Supplements is a very highly competitive market...Amazon seems to be the only winner in this game..
Hello, great video....I have a question...Once I find a product that I am interested in selling, how do I find a supplier in the US. I prefer to find wholesalers in the US for now.
Great information. Just finding your info 2yrs later and setting aggressive goals for this year for my new e store. Thank you for the continued due diligence.
I am so grateful for this video! My boyfriend and I are taking steps to launch our fitness products on Amazon and this video just steered us in the right direction!! Thank you so much!!
Hi Stefan, how does shipping products from China work in terms of customs and clearance in the States? Do any kind of customs apply to clothing items? Thanks for the great vids!
Though very late, I just discovered about Amazon FBA system a week back and currently making myself familiar with ABC of this system. It is great to watch such videos where we save years of labor by focusing on do's and avoiding don't. MY real worry is how to avoid inventory build up as if I am starting with just $ 1000 as a professional seller and have to pay fixed cost like of monthly charges of Professional seller at amazon, limiting my first order to very few items or may be just one which I am sure of selling. I don't want to get blocked just at first step. Will appreciate views of others who have crossed this first step successfully. Wish you all Merry Christmas and happy new year
I am just starting to sell on Amazon. After all the videos and tutorials I could (taking notes), the videos from you Stefan and Project Life Mastery are the greatest!!! They are simple, clear and to the point. Personally, they are the best for me. I understand them very well. Thank you, for sharing your gift. You have given me the final inspiration and force that I needed to actually choose to do this. I have been trying to make ends meet with 5 children, and this is it!!! :D
I would like to know how to start selling. What is a good amount of money to invest in your first product after you have done the research and found a niche? I am currently a college student, but this business model is very interesting to me. I am willing to give into the process and learn how to succeed. Do you recommend any books? I am a huge reader of nonfiction. -Thanks
hooray I finally got to watch the mastery class take 2. it was amazing. I've been working hard on figuring out my brand is and what I'm all about. You have helped me tremendously. I am so greatful for you. thank you so much
Thanks for the great video Stefan & Greg. A lot of quality content. I placed my first order last month and waiting on delivery. I'm very excited to get this going. Thanks again.
Thanks for the video, but I wish you could have shown the windows you opened slowly, I have no idea then its hard to follow and keep interested on it. Good luck guys.
Where do I go to learn about how to sell a lot on amazon?I'm 18 years old and I really want to be successful at it, I'm willing to use all of my time learning about it.
Brilliant brilliant brilliant! I do Ebay/Amazon arbitrage so i know that there is trememdous viability to this method. I am looking towards amazon FBA to leave Arbitrage and to increase profit margins. Is there a training course that comes along with this Amazon FBA software solution? For example, 10 videos explaining what do to first, budgeting, sponsored listing tutorials etc? thank you.
so funny hearing the scooters going by from time to time 100% CONFIRMATION was shot in Bali. Jalan Jalan! Great video very informative - Thank you will absolutely look into Jungle Scout and give feedback.
Hi Stefan, I am currently doing your K-Money Mastery program and starting to really love the process.I am also a Real estate agent who is looking for more leveraged business ideas. I have interest in doing FBA and reselling books. But I am hearing all these horrible story's about people getting their accounts shut down for no reason. If I did FBA and that happened would my Kindle business also get shut down? That is my big fear... I know you are busy so I hope to hear back from you! ~ Best regards, Chris.
Hi Stefan! Thank you for your videos. Quick question. Greg didn't mention this in the interview, but does he only look through gold and assessed suppliers on Alibaba?
+Okiro Life I know that Greg really didn't mention this but one video of Stefan's that I watched earlier talked about only searching for suppliers with those two filtered criteria.
Hi thank you for this very informative video Stefan and Greg How do you handle shipping and warehousing for Private Label Items. For instance Greg mentioned the stainless steel product. This is a slightly bulky item. Thanks
I want to understand specifically it means when you say not to much competition?? He said he would look for products to sell where there is not to much competition. What can I look at to tell me that a certain product is not going to have to much competition and still sell well for me???
+Marlene Miller Cosmetics is a restricted category and hard to ungate into. Furniture is too oversized. You should start with something, preferably hard to break and can fit inside a shoe box. For your first product anyway.
Hi Stefan- thank you so much for all the good content you share! And your true desire to try to help people- it really comes through! I heard on one of your videos that you do one on one coaching- is that still true? and do you have somewhere that has all the details of that? Thanks so much! All the best to you!
I don't do one-on-one coaching anymore, no. But I do livestreams where I answer questions every month in the Online Business Mastery Accelerator and Life Mastery Accelerator programs. You can learn more at onlinebusinessmasteryaccelerator.com and lifemasteryaccelerator.com
Hello, Stefan! I have a question. Should I buy business license to be as an FBA Amazon seller ( I would like to resell new items of course)? Maybe it depends what state do I live (I live I CA by the way)? Thank you!!!
Stefan, thank you for replying! I have another question, how can a person tell if a certain niche will be successful or even decide on what niche to pick?
so, as far as number of reviews, is this something you want in a lower range mainly for private label or does it apply to reselling wholesale as well? wont everyone be on same page with same reviews if selling identical wholesale product?
Stefan, Should I sell the products I'm passionate about or the products that are profitable? How much does it cost to ship your product from China Factory to Amazon's Warehouse in United States? 3 sellers said that it would cost me 70$ - 105$, is this true? I just don't want to be screwed :D
+Robert Daudish Aim for both, passionate + profitable, there's so many opportunities. It depends on the weight/size/freight carrier you decide to use when you ship something.
Do you think Clothing would be a great market to be in? Or is it to competitive? Unless I were to be very specific in terms of style of clothing and target a certain audience that likes a certain type of clothing? Ex: Contemporary Fashions or Vintage Styles.
+Ben Cafri well when I say contemporary I mean the minimalistic contemporary style of fashion not contemporary fashions in the sense of high end runway for example Zara has a contemporary fashion style that takes inspiration from the Runway but has some affordable prices.
+Ben Cafri I was looking through alibaba and found a lot of styles of clothing that I would want to identify my brand with and of course I wouldn't charge 100 dollars for a dress made in china my price point would be more in the forever 21 genre... But still my question is, is this a smart idea to make money off of for a long term existence on Amazon and make a great profit? Or is that market/niche at an overstock of competitors therefore I wouldn't make very much money due to the mass of clothing brands on Amazon and the competitive nature?
hi really liked your video and am greatful for it, I have a question. Why is it good to apply for FBA as a business instead of for your personal use when selling?also, I have seen many people selling dvd's and games etc for $0.01. People buy these for $5 right? because it includes $4.99 shipping costs so how do the sellers make money from it?thanks, sean.
+Michael Feudo Depends on what you want to make. I tried to find American made stuff first, didn't take long to realize it isn't possible for most categories
hi ok so i wanted to start my own private label product but i have trouble starting. i have a concept, i want to sell object one and i have a brand name for that object. i know where to get the object and the pricing. i know how to get reviews and start generating income but the problem is i dont know how to start{ do i have to register the brand or do i just say my brand name is blank as long as no one has that brand.
+Josh Bromberg Hi Josh, there's many ways of doing it (hard to explain them all in a comment), but one of the most common ways is doing product give aways using a coupon code.
What if the item I want to sell has 4 out of the 10 top products on JS with reviews under 100 but the number one has 6500 reviews? Is there a chance for me to make my place?
the branding is confusing me still. Do i have to register or file for the logo? i can just put up any logo I want without any legal work? within reason of course, not nike or something like that.
I asked this of your guest on a jungle scout posting but got no reply: do you have to have google chrome? I do not like that program and prefer to not install and use it.
I don't see your reply to my post on here but i received an email from you stating "Imagine a new selling platform better then amazon"...Interested. Let me know more.
+AdaptationalIdeas Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk are the biggest markets on Amazon. If your product sells on there, it will sell on Amazon.ca and others as well... so no point covering all the other countries and Amazon platforms, as there's too many.
+AdaptationalIdeas Canada is such a small market and with the low canadian dollar, it is harder to make huge buck but possible... The main reason I'm working to set up a us business for amazon usa
Thanks Joaquim Josh I have seen that amazon is not that big in Canada at the moment but this is why I am going to start now in this market, In the past 2 years or so amazon Canada has increased in popularity buy a lot! I don't know the exact numbers but its growing substantially. Getting into it now when the market is young has big potential. Also I am super new to this so I wouldn't even know where to start to have my products listed in the USA. Project Life Mastery what do you think of the potential for amazon.ca in the next few years do you think that I am on the right track?
AdaptationalIdeas It is allways good to start when it is growing, I also plan to stay on amazon.ca but swift primary to amazon usa since the market is like 10x bigger. And later since i have lot of relatives in London, expand to Amazon uk
Just relaying advice I've heard elsewhere: Do amazon first because it has a much lower barrier to entry and you have less to worry about. Once you have a successful product on amazon then you can look into making your own e-commerce site to diversify your revenue stream.
I would like to sell products from my country to Amazon i would like to work together with someone who is already successfully working in Amazon i can ship products from my country.
+ian2sexy FBA means Fulfillment by Amazon, meaning they handle the shipping and store your inventory at their warehouse for you. ASM is Amazing Selling Machine, which teaches how to sell on Amazon through FBA.
hello, my name is Sam. i was just curious, can a 19 year old such as myself, be successful at amazon FBA? Because i have been contemplating this for a while now and i am not quite sure if this business model will work or not.
+Samdan ali Absolutely, I know many young people that are doing extremely well and making money from Amazon, including a few that are still in high school. It blows my mind, but I get the messages from these people all the time which is cool.
Is there a way to not show other sellers prices on my product page? I just want to show my product and my price, not other prices listed as new or used. I don't want to show that on my product page. How to do this?
