Well, although it is against the rules, I am very sure it wasn't an angle of any sort. If he buys alcohol he is usually a whale. And we want the whales too feel as comfortable as possible. I think that is part of your job as a pro. Just imagine the worst case scenario, you call the floor they force him to put the money back he snap folds his hand gets up and goes to a different table and will never sit your table again. I once had an older fish that didn't know all rules of poker (he acted out of turn regularly ^^) sitting at the 5/5 table and some regular managed to make him so uncomfortable, by ranting over him that he left after 20 minutes loosing so much EV for the rest of the table. Make them happy they pay your salary xD
Taking money out of his stack for a drink in the middle of a hand? 15:39 Thats against the rules. I cant believe the dealer did not do anything lol. Btw: A high was not the best hand 32:52 or is graphics not correct
You're over-reacting to the guy paying the waitress £50 from his stack. It's not like he trousered it or went below the minimum buyin. He's a drunk fish, you should be buying him drinks to keep him at the table.
The guys obviously there chucking his cash away and having fun. Offered drinks in good spirits, obviously it’s against the rules but it’s not scummy is it. Imagine calling him out and him leaving an unfriendly atmosphere and you miss out on the rest of his chips.
@@eastyyy22 Generally agree with this, he shouldn't be doing what he is doing and Dealer should be calling him out for it but if you read the situation, spewy whale buying people drinks, probably likely gonna rebuy and stick around if he loses the pot, seems to have a few friends at the table as well (It may even be same Irish people I once did 2/5 against in Dusk to Dawn) so future EV play is to say nothing and carry on with the hand, doing anything else is silly imo, keep him at the table.
TBF i can get your frustration from the donkey taking 50 pound of his stack midhand - buuuuuuuuuut and here's the big but(t): If he is a splashy whale - like the special kind we all know i'm talking about who buys everyone drinks - offers you drinks if you fold and so on - like that guy that's actually serious about it - well you gotta let that 50 go - make the whale happy so he rebuys and keeps playing with ya - sucks when you could have straight up won it - but keeping a whale like him on the table should be more +ev then 50 pound
Worst I have seen was a fella shoving all-in, getting called and then the waitress turns up with his food. He reaches into the pile of chips he had seconds later shoved over the line, withdraws £15 and pays for his food. I wasn't in the pot but if I had been...!
damn, i think i am 4bet iso-raising the A7s against the blind raiser, haha! so much dead money and the other guys are extremely capped. great video as always, easty!!
Not going to leave the same comment about the fella taking 50 to buy drinks as everyone else, as everyone's said what I'd say anyway. Great vlog as always, love to see more live cash vlogs if you get the chance
Lowkey I think you’ve become a really solid player now, and it’s nice to see good players indulge in sarcastic fuckery I believe you’ll take down a big tournament at some point (hopefully I can too lol)
03:00 I feel like we should raise turn cause Villain is unlikely betting 0 equity hand there( I mean in general, obv vs us he's very thin) and I doubt he'd do something especially crazy on blanks, so if anything, he might get scared off on bad river or suck us out.
32:53 He doesn't have 4 high, he has bottom pair. Insane that you're thinking about a call here. If you really wanted to be the PONP world champion, 4bet jam was a play.
