I bet this technique would work with fabric as well? Cute as kitchen magnets, too. Or hair clips or pins. I would have to put a smiley face sticker or button in the middle of one of them. 🙂. You got my creative juices flowing.
Great ideas!! After I made this video I started putting all kinds of things in the centers and I think fabric would work! Thank you for watching! - Joan 🙂
I love this craft. One idea I thought of is to add a skewer stem roll in floral tape and do various lengths. I would make enough to fill a decoupage can. As you said the possibilities are endless. Thank you for sharing.
Back many many years (actually about 50!) there was a popular craft that was much the same. The loops were made with pipe cleaners and rather than paper we used fabric. The centers were either buttons or Pom poms cut from Pom Pom trim. We made the leaves the same way then floral tape down the pipe cleaner stem. Thanks for the memory!
Hi! I have seen the ones with pipe cleaners and buttons too. I’m a napkin decoupager so I had to find a way to make with napkins! Thank you I am going to try fabric next! - Joan ❤️
Hi, thanks to you, I just lost a few hours of my Sunday lol, but so glad I did! Started with this diy that came in to my suggested videos, and just had to watch several more. I love your ideas and your instruction, very clear and fun to watch. New sub and fan!!
I’m sharing this idea with my niece she’s such a little crafter! I really want to buy some napkins at zippies as soon as I decide which ones! I enjoy your videos so much!
Those are so cute. They might be kind of cute if you were too hot glue as your wooden secure on them and put them in an old fruit jar. They are adorable. You are one clever lady.
I love these! I have some pretty scrapbook paper that would work well. Any kind of gift wrap would work and be a little stronger than napkins. Thanks for the inspiration.
Love this idea! As I was watching an idea that came to my mind was using coloured wired pipe cleaners instead of the jute, definitely going to make some of these!
Love the flowers cool idea! Definitely going to try this. I’d make smaller ones for card making or even to put up on walls in my craft space. Just adorable TFS looking forward to more projects since i subscribed 😀
Hi Nancy! Wow some great ideas there! I love the idea of hanging them on the wall and big ones are NOT any harder! Glad you enjoyed my video and welcome to my channel! 🙂 Joan
I used the felt pads ( dollar tree) for the center, which works great. Thank you for this beautiful craft idea 🤩🥰 Edited: I also cut out card stock to support the back of the flower using mod podge to bond it.
Did you attach the napkin to the card stock first? I thought about that but I loved how light and translucent the flower petals looked. But I guess it depends on how you are going to use them. Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂 - Joan
@@JoanMarieDominoI followed how you applied the flower to the napkin, allowed to dry. Then I cut around the flower and traced that around the cardstock. Applied Mod Podge on the cardstock, then placed the flower napkin over it, let dry, cutting around the edges of the flower. Added magnets. I hope I explained that right 😊 so cute. Thanks again! 🌼🌻🌸
@@JoanMarieDominoI loved the napkin designs you have. And I also like the light and translucent look. But I had to add something sturdy because I have a child and I didn't want it ruined by fingers lol I'm thinking about dropping a little bit of resin in the pedals, see how it turns out 🤷🏼 these would make cute coasters.
They are so cute and I looks so fun to make. I think you could use fabric or burlap and put them on small wooden dowels or skewers, in a floral vase or Terracotta pot. Thank you for the inspiration. ❤
I love watching your ideal ! I have made so much ! Thank you ❤ made some flowers and put magnets on them and all so glued to a stick and put in clay flower pot , 4 that looked like sunflowers 🌻
