Make your own battery holder at home using few office paper clips and a general purpose PCB board. I extracted some 18650 lithium ion cells from an old laptop battery, so this DIY battery holder made it very easy to use them in my homemade gadgets.

WoW.. Thanks a million for this.. Soldering is sticking to 18650 batteries unfortunately local electronics store do not have required Flux to solder this.. I will try this should.. Should work for sure... Nice and creative work buddy..

Yes, you can use this technique to make holders for any batteries, i have also made a AA battery holder video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OaEkA0_2tys.html Although this video does not include a switch but that can be easily connected.

In floor cleaning robot i used electrical cable raceway. The width will depend on the motors you will be using and for remote i used half cut PVC pipe of 2''.
