Coconut milk gives the meat an interesting texture and flavour. I've never marinated a chicken in it overnight but I am utterly fascinated because I love coconut milk and cooking with it. I'll definitely try that first recipe sometime in the future. Thanks Marcus!

He basically repeated the same chicken recipe and just added the chocolate sauce. But, still watched all of it cause FRIED CHICKEN. And it really does look TASTY.
He has some of the best fried chicken I've ever eaten! I lived on the same street as Red Rooster, off 126th, just 2 mins from the restaurant and I threw all my money at it regularly. It was really that good!
I gave up meat a couple of years ago, and fried chicken is literally the only thing I miss. (Never cared for legs and thighs though, but his looked good). Love Marcus!
Red Rooster is probably one of *THE BEST* place in NYC serving fried chicken. It's just an *AMAZING* overall restaurant: from the food to the people and just the overall vibe inside. It's also pretty affordable. Fairly cheap for the quantity and quality of the meal. 10/10 suggest hitting the spot up

I have no doubt whatsoever that his fried chicken is amazing but me growing up in Texas I prefer southern fried chicken which is normally a buttermilk batter but instead of only putting flour on it once you do it two or three times Or at least that’s what my dad taught me
