Today I share 3 ideas that are tried and true for me. I used ‪@EllenHutsonLLC‬ products but you could certainly adapt these ideas to suit yourself and personalise your cards!

Great ideas for masculine cards. You have the best luck die cutting fun foam. I thought the second card looked good without the umbrella. Of course a shaker card is always fun! Happy New Year!!

Love the cards. I think I would try to put a double layer of foam tape on the umbrella closest to the guy on the towel to give it just a bit more dimension

Well done Therese! Which is no surprise to me! I think the addition of the umbrella helped balance out the weight of the bold sentiment. The circle card turned out to be my favorite-I like how you said you kept stamping until your eyes were happy with it. My eyes agreed with your eyes! I really like the way you did the sentiment too (& it made me laugh).💗

They are all very clever. I like the infinity card. And I love the colors you used. I tend to use darker colors for masculine cards. But I'm not really a fan. So brighter colors it is from now on! Thank you for the inspiration.

I do like the darker colours as well, but something bright is my usual 'go to' so the men seem to get those cards from me too lol.

These are great ideas... I've been attempting to make cards for church and while I can come up with tons of ideas for women - men are a little harder as there are just not the same amount of stamps available for men as there are for women and children.

I was actually thinking of asking you if you thought we could give a shaker card to a man. I have a coffee cup die from Honey Bee. He saw a card I did with that set and was impressed. I wanted to do something similar but different so I was thinking shaker card. I even have some sequins in brass/brown or something that could look like coffee. I was just worried that it wasn't right for a man. But you have given me permission ;) I should have guessed you were going to do a shaker when you saved all the crosses. I actually thought the size of the sentiment for the beach card worked. But the umbrella was a nice touch.

Thanks so much Olivia! I've certainly made many shakers for men over the years and have often added sequins or things like glitter glass / pops etc. I have seen little coffee beans that you can use in shakers that would be perfect for your card design... I think they were at Kat Scrappiness Yep, right here www.katscrappiness.com/products/coffee-beans-large-pack .... but seriously you could use real coffee beans and that would be fun too, and size won't matter as you don't even have to post it lol!! I also have some circular shaker windows from Sizzix that work perfect for this idea too, these are the bigger 2.5" ones bit.ly/3EB4BQq And if you have the time I'd love to see what you create, if you have a social page you can always tag me otherwise I have a direct email at my blog that you can contact me there. Your card sounds like a fun one!

I struggle with men's cards, and these ideas were soooo helpful. Tuns out that the one I thought was the least inspiring was the one that inspired me the most!! The circle card. As I was watching I was saying to myself "Nah, this won't look good." Then I saw the finished card and said "Wow, how wrong can you be!!" I do love the Nordic Cross cover die though.
