I thank you so much for sharing your talent & skills with us. The "Basket Cake"...is truly A WORK OF ART! I "replaced" the cardboard hinged lid (with a "sturdy" cookie made from a template similar to yours)...but, I still covered the cookie with the buttercream frosting...so that it could still look like your BEAUTIFUL one. I was not so good with making the roses (I'll have to work at that aspect). I cheated and bought them from a place that charged way too much. However, I'm inspired by you; therefore, I will go back to the drawing board and try to "perfect" my roses. Yours are so LOVELY! May God Bless you, Got Cake! *P.S. Can you "FREEZE" it and ship on dry ice in a styro-foam container (like Omaha steak does)? FEDEX NEXT DAY SHIPPING..if you could I would purchase one of your INCREDIBLE CAKES in a heart beat! You should sell these beauties on ETSY.COM, as well. Please reach the masses, we LOVE your cakes! :-D

Could you please tell me what the tool you used to make the rose's with. I am trying to buy a few thing's at a time then start practicing decorating cake's. I have 11 grandkids who I make cake's for most of their birthday's but all I can do is ice it put candle's on them my goal is to get the rest of the tools I need practice this year then next year try doing some of them. I have saved alot of them so can try to make a few. Thank you for sharing your fabulous talent with us. Means so much. 😃

interesting way of making roses. imma have to practice doing them that way! can a non dairy whipped cream be used instead of buttercream? im talking about stuff like pastry pride...it whips beautifully, do you think it will work?

guys you don't have to criticize their work so much it was a 7 and a half min tutorial and they were probably rush to finish it and get back to their own life goddamn at least give the person some credit for even making a video for you ungrateful and just plain rude people it may be a bit sloppy but you could be a little more thankful they didn't have to. take the time out of their lives to video and edit and upload this just to get hateful comments from jerks who probably have never even attempted to walk a mile in another person's shoes so just back off and let them be

For a 7 minute cake, that was very well done. Imagine if this skilled decorator actually slowed down a bit and paid a little more attention to detail what they could create. The only thing that was really bad was the cardboard, I can't make any excuses for that,

Except for the handle of the basket in card board, the Cake looks beautiful..

Notice how it gets so sloppy towards the end....every detail counts when it comes to artistry in cake decorating. That is why people pay 1000's of $ for specialty cakes. Im sorry. I guess I am detail oriented.
