Hello Hello From Canada!!! This is a beautiful design and your workmanship is excellent. I do not subscribe on the first episode I watch on a channel, but your work on this was so good and inspiring that I had to subscribe. So I am new to your channel and I am looking forward to seeing more episodes on your channel. Keep up the awesome content and I can't wait to see what you do next. I hope you have good luck, good health and as much happiness as you possibly can in all your future endeavors.
Not that I'm ever going to build one but have been thinking along these lines ever since the double burning smokeless fire pits came out. You have taken my thoughts even further along with this concept. It looks like it should work beautifully all but eliminating creosote buildup while getting the full potential of available BTU's out of the wood. I use to be a designer/ fabricator / welder and appreciate the thought process along with the work that went into this. Great stuff !
I just came on youtube to search specifically for a woodstove design and your channel is the first that popped up, and I believe I've got the design I was hoping to find on the second video from you. I'll be trying to replicate what you've built here.
wow mister!...there you have some creative skill and love....... It is truly inspiring. Thank you for your skill and warmhearted generosity to share your work and effort. Sincerely yours, Ernst, From the Netherlands, Amsterdam
I do like these videos honestly, but i find it hard to believe that anyone or everyone can make things like this without the skill set. I do like the end product very much.
They can’t - you have to be able to weld. The.n, You have to have a welder. The only reason you would do a project like this is if you have both and you you won’t have both if you didn’t have the skill set . You are absolutely correct
As a welder myself i disagree with you hackbridge. (with respect ofc) theres skill sets then skill sets. for instance.the vast majority of yt projects are made by backyard welders with no formal training but a do it yourself mentality a cheap welder/mask , grinder and a bit of scrap..you be surprised how fast you can pick it up..its how most started. have a go.
Recycled ideas and not an original one. Flawed design with zero comprehension of how air flows and how it benefits the burn. Not much needed other than taking a second to not copy and paste others past failures and promote it to show others how little you can provide. So many yt people are bored in life and watch nonsense that keeps us on the lower level of thinking. This is why we can't have nice things.(🫵
You can do it dude 😎💪! But don't forget to read all the suggestions written up here in the comments. Just in case someone has a very good idea you can use also. So remember you can make it bigger than this or smaller, with a little more thought about it. Good luck and God Almighty bless your efforts dude.
@@user-pm4oe5wu4c Yes, sir...thank you. I have found that comments are just as valuable as the video content. There is always someone else out there that has experience on a video topic; there's a wealth of information out there. And...I'm starting this project in about an hour after I write this comment. Here we go....
What a great little stove! Believe me, it will warm up a large room in no time with the heat exchanger and fan. Only thing is, you have to bend very low or kneel to load it and empty the ash pan.
@@PaulyV56 For you. Fixing it is not that hard either, and you only do it once, it beats getting on your knees several times a day. Quibbling aside, I find that tools and appliances with poor ergonomics gradually fall into disuse no matter how well they work.
Very nice looking and practical stove. Would be great in a small Cabin. You should see if you can sell the prototype to a big Grill or furnace manufacturer
You are an Artist with welding sticks and the grinder ! But i'm not sure if you fire door will be Leakproof enough for the smoke. Even the Air will produce a vacuum with the fan. But your skills are amazing, and the design is great. And you wa susing only recycled material. Or nearly.
Why casters? The exhaust vent (chimney) is a fixed point and you're not going to want your little stove moving around with hot coals and flammables all around. The hot water tank to the chimney, while a clever way of collecting heat is just going to pump steam into your dwelling.
Yeah we keep two tea kettles on our stove with water in them at all times in the winter, just to breathe. I agree with the casters, why? But then I look at the pure cast iron wood stove my Father bought 40 years ago and remember it took four strong men to move it in the house. I bet they wished it had of been on wheels even back then, it weighs 400lbs.
I think it would be smart business savvy to build and sell these. As another person stated “I can’t weld”, and all that cut off wheel work would easily take unskilled finger right off. So just build and sell them and you’ve cornered a market of a fantastic wood burner.
@@Creativeproject2020 easily the single most efficient wood burner ever heated by man. From the cave to the living rooms man has sent more wasted heat up the pipes than should be. Imagine a smaller fire producing a much higher percentage of heat output than pipe throughput. Your invention is the answer to green house waste and I can only imagine the marketing and profiteering you WILL easily reap. When I build a camp fire I feel guilty for watching all that heat heading to the sky rather than being directed. I hope you consider and dream this into a lucrative fruition so that less trees are burned and maximum output is felt. Here’s your slogan “Simply The Best”…
This is a nice stove. You have great fabrication skills. My only critique is that you tack weld it together. You obviously know how to run an arc welder. You should practice welding full beads for your projects. Heat distortion might be an issue but you could control that with turning voltage down and stitch welding instead of full beads. I hope you wore a mask when welding the galvanized parts. That’s some nasty crap you don’t want to inhale.
Nice vid, but did you notice, that your fingers just nearly missed the still spinning grinder wheel at 1:57 when you put the second metal piece on the table! Be careful. I like the stove - very nice and practical. Thumbs up - I still got mine.
Thank you very much, for your care and attention to my safety. But in the video, my hand is at a diagonal angle of the camera, creating an unrealistic image. In fact, my hand was still far away from the cutter blade
Thank you. This is just a model to make it easier for you to understand. When in use, you can connect the hot water pipe to a large tank for long-term use
Very entertaining, i just wonder how log will it last fire is unforgiving and it dosent seem like thick metal.and the paint i hope it is heat resistent ,end it will not retain heat to.thin
