Hi Wendy, the concept evolved from teaching my products in classes. So many of them were based around building my boxes that needed painting and hinges. In a one day class we could still be painting after lunch and with drying time it left no time do decorate the projects before the class finished. (the bit we all want to do most). I had to change my class concept so invented a new way of construction, sourced a Construction Tape after a lot of product testing, that met all my needs and was archival safe (many of them on the market arn't) and launched my concept. My classes were revolutionised, boxes assembled by 11, no drying time required and paper going on them before lunch. Perfect hinges created too. Then I moved onto the album construction. It worked, so that was included in my classes too. It saves using all that cardstock and double sided tape. I shared the concept on UK Craft TV and my You Tube channel about five years ago and crafters love it and now use the concept all over the world. Its great to give something back to a community I learned so much from when I started paper crafting back in 2011. :-) C

I can tell you that I carried out a variety of tests on over 30 different black tapes before launching my unique binding system to the crafting community five years ago and putting my name to the Signature Black Construction tape I sell. My Creative Spirit to bad, the cost for shipping is 20.00 plus to the USA, so not feasible for me. Great looking tape though.
