Uwc..its same method First you need to determine the fullness you desire..and that can only be gotten by knowing the quantity of net you need...e.g waist ×10 or 15 depending on how you want.answer ÷ 36=no of yards. Then if it's going to be long, you still decide if its 3, 4, 5 or more layers, so you can buy your net according to the layers you want.i hope it's a bit clear?
Hello ma, in cutting the net, does it mean that the top most layer should be the actual dress length. Just like what you did 11(actual length), 10(inner layer), 7(inner layer), 5(inner layer). Such that the 11 inches covered everything without showing the others inside. Please ma, your response will be appreciated.
But it's not difficult na... Still normal way of drafting upper bodice but this neck line is U like in shape...then trim out ur net as it is, using any color long strap to turn it, then sew on the bodice in such a way that it cut across the neckline from front to back.. If I can I will do and upload for better understanding
