As I mentioned last week, through the holiday season we will mix it up a bit and have some fun making different things that make great gifts for the holidays too. In this beginner video tutorial we do a beaded bookmark project, using a simple technique that is similar to jewelry making.
Supplies for a similar 10” bookmark:
~ 50-55 8/0 seed beads or 4mm beads, or any combo of approx 50-55 small beads
~ 2 2mm spacer beads
~ 12” piece of .019” beading wire
~ 1- 1 1/2” piece of any chain
~ 2 crimp beads/tubes
~ 2 crimp covers
~ 2 wire guardians
~ 1 6mm jump ring
~ 1 charm
~ 1 26mm (or larger) lobster style/locket style clasp
~ crimp tool
~ wire cutters
~ chain nose pliers
~ bent nose or flat nose pliers
