How to Make a Beaded Scorpion

Here's a demonstration of how to make a scorpion from beads and wire. This is very similar to my beaded spider but I recommend trying to make the spider first at this is a little more advanced. Be sure to check out my other tutorials and subscribe!

Very creative. Your scorpion needs two more legs though.

First of all, where do you find the body bead? Second, I hate to be critical, but a scorpion has 8 legs and 2 claws. So you need to modify your scorpion to have two more wires...just an fyi.

Because they are arachnids, scorpions have eight legs plus two claws--ten appendages all together. You need to add two more legs to your scorpion.

Beautiful. I just got done making 2 spiders and I LOVE them. Where do you get your beads from. The stores around here are terrible as far as selection. So I'm thinking of ordering from Fire Mountain Gems.

No, sorry. College kind of took over my life and I never got back to this stuff. If someone wanted it for education or to benefit the sick/under privileged/etc I'd consider putting one together but otherwise I'm pretty busy with grad school these days.
