I tried to learn from a different video. Yours is so superior. I feel confident now. And a big thx for showing some things that could go wrong and how to fix them.
This was one of the best instructional videos I have seen, I really appreciated that fact that you took the time to explain what to do if you did make a mistake along the way. I thought you did a great job going step by step and I did complete my hat. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video.
This is the first and only video I’ve seen using a large gauge loom with size 4 yarn. I like the tip of using three loops on the pegs. The hat turned out great. I’ve only been using size 6 yarn on my large gauge loom. I did get a fine gauge loom for size 4 yarn, but now I realise that probably wasn’t necessary. Thanks for the informative video.
Very happy with your tutorial. You are very calm, no unnecessary dialogue and you have a very pleasant speaking voice. I have made a hat following your tutorial and, even though I say it myself, it has turned out very well. Thank you. By the way I am 88 and doing this for charity as well as keeping my brain active!! Have you a pattern for a tea cosy for loom knitting? An “old” friend has asked me to make one. Margaret
OMG, this is the " best of the best" for how to make a loom hat. I wish I had found this years ago. Your presentation is relaxing and easy, for me, to follow. Like your technique of wrapping the pegs with three loops of yarn. This is a easy and beautiful pattern.

Thank You so much. This is a quick way to make hats. I got my loom today and I’m a little slow but with your great teaching I will speed up. Want to make as many as possible. Making them for the homeless. My sister in law is making blankets. Bless You and thank You
I really appreciate your hat video. I understood everything you said and everything you showed us! I have watched so many sad, awful tutorials, without learning very much. Thank you!
I want to thank you for explaining simply about pulling the yarn only part of the way down. When my friend, Mrs. Higgins taught me how to knit, I always pulled the yarn tight figuring I was saving yarn. I have not seen anyone explain the reasons behind not pulling tight or all the way down on the peg. And explaining the flexibility of the yarn was cool. Some of us don't know these things. I love my loom and am so glad I started loom I.
I never thought, I could make a hat on a looming machine, until, I saw your tutorial. Thank you for sharing your tutorial for making this beautiful knitted hat pattern on a looming machine.
Brilliant tutorial I made my first beanie with a brim but without the pom pom. You took your time explaining everything and slow enough for to see what you was doing in each step.
WOW!!!!! I really enjoyed watching this video. In all the other videos and I do mean all the other videos I've watched on that knitting, they said iif you skip one you have to go back to the one you skipped and start all over from there. You showed me that even though I'm new at doing this I dont have to start over because I made one simple mistake. Now I know I'll be knitting hats for all eleven of my grandchildren. I was scared to even try before this video. Thank you so much.
Yes finally someone who really knows how to loom knit your teaching was great thank you so much my hat is a succès cause of you. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Christine
I was thrilled with the results. Great instructions and technique. Had to abandon a previous hat from another instructional video because the tension was wrong.
I am so very happy with this video that I came across I've tried three times and I am a knitter , I crochet and Crafter but I wanted to try it with the loom I believe and have the confidence that I will get it now you've explained it so easily thank you so much 🤗
had brought at auction all the looms the book was okay but you made it easier for me to understand. but I would not knot the rows. did a nice job thank you.
I think crochet hats are nicer, but they are harder to make and take longer. This is a fun, easy and quick way to whip up hats. Easier on the hands, too. Have fun!!
Great video, very clear and excellent instructions. I want to say here that a square knot, which is the one the instructor says to use, makes a knot that is flat and incorporates beautifully into work. I have been knitting and crocheting for decades, and now hand looming. When using a square knot, you cannot see them and you cannot feel them. It's a personal choice, plain and simple, another option to use versus simply weaving in ends. I like the square knot and use it all of the time because I know that my work is secure. I also must say that it was extremely rude and quite arrogant for a viewer to have called this lovely, well-spoken instructor a 'terrible teacher.' It was an unnecessary and unkind remark to have made. The proof is in the hat... it's great, square knots and all, no bumps!
I thought the video was very well done. I learned of my errors I was making when I first started loom knitting about 7 years ago but lost interest because I couldn't find a class to attend so I could knit with other loom knitters. God bless, and thank you for taking the time to give easy instructions, and telling us you really can't mess up. Does anyone on here live in the Medford (Oregon) area? I like knitting with others.
Just an fyi: I use a binder clip to hold my yarn on the holding peg while I'm knitting off the rest. Really helps if I need to put down my work so the yarn doesn't come undone until I pick it up again. Great video.
I really enjoyed watching this video. I’ve been a hat/scarf making fool since I learned to loom but really didn’t know how to change colors. Thank you again.
Thank you so much, I've watched so many tacky videos on how to do this and wow. I really did learn quite alot. You talk us through everything and very professional about the steps and what to do. Thank you!
Thank you so much for taking your time to explain each and everything I love the way that you explain every detail I finished my hat please make more videos

I totally love your video... you are an expert in taking your time and I love the fact you go slow and explain and show ALL your work and show the close up's of what your doing. And show it from start to finish. Keep doing more and more and more!!
I seriously enjoy your tutorials. I get lost a lot in other users videos and I am right with you all the way. I've learned so much from this one video. Even to anchor the yarn to move the loops down some. I hope you do a lot loom tutorials , because you would be helping out this noob loomer big time. Thank you so much.
I bought the round knitting loom set from Walmart, and it has very poor instructions, on the back of the box. it makes more sense now that I've seen this video! Thank you!!
Wal Mart sells Boye. Their pegs are not as easy to work with. These are more like a mushroom than a pointy ‘finger’. Invest in one of the knifty knitters brand and the videos will help you. An ergonomic hook is also easier on the hands than the skinny ones. Maybe Joanne or Michaels, but not Boye brand.
Meredith Belk..... I've made several hats using my knitting loom... I've always used2 yarns at a time...The first person I watched making a hat on the loom made it that way...Yes they do come out thicker...
Thank you so much for this video it sure helps me ☺️ I thought I had been doing mine right but I've been doing it wrong this whole time. So happy I came across your video
Lovely . May I suggest that you leave the yarn that you use to tie the pompom as 2 long pieces and use them to attach it to the hat I find that much easier.
