Awesome! I’m a big bonsai enthusiast and I can’t get over the weird look the frogs give me with the original. What you have done looks way more accurate to an actual bonsai tree.

The original looks way better imo. Just ordered a light set so it lights up at night. When I noticed that the blossoms are made out of frogs, I laughed and enjoyed the build even more.

Ya, your version of the cherry blossom tree looks way better. The pink frogs makes the cherry blossom tree too spiky.

Any chance you could show how to combine two 10281s to have a huge bonsai? someone uploaded instructions on rebrickable but I'm too much of a newb to do it without baby steps

The cherry blossom webbing is so brilliant and makes the tree much more life like. The technique reinforces the depth and delicateness of the flowers/tree. It would be interesting to see how this could be translated into netting or lacework.

This may or may not work, but maybe try hanging the cobra from one shelf over another to make it look like its doing a low pass or gun run. Just a thought.
