Why isn't black coffee just called black coffee, instead of being called an Americano?

You can call it black coffee. But people that know what an americano is, order it on purpose because it's just espresso shot plus hot water which has a slightly different taste than just regular brewed coffee in a basic coffee machine.

Some people said it is not the same as brewed coffee there is no big difference just put minimum of espresso and lots of hot water and you have real coffee not even americano better believe it is all about extraction

yes, it's hot. But drinkable, if you take it slow.

Hi, Can you go the set up the night prior and then in the morning simply press the button…meaning the night prior you have the coffee beans grinded and then you squeeze the grinded coffee into that spoon thing and then insert it in the machine, I don’t want to do all of that in the morning, I’d rather do it the night before

Yes definitely! I do that sometimes too. It’s very helpful. Set it all up at night and and in the morning just press the button! 👍
