Forget about heavy, rough rhinestones, spangles are the new bling in town. They are flat holographic disks that have a strong adhesive backing.
Think sequins, but with no hole. They are heat applied on and are super blingy.
The ProSpangle is a bling machine meant for big production. It punches out spangles from a reel, upside down with the adhesive side facing up.
They are placed on a sticky transfer sheet. Then these spangle transfer sheets can be stored for later use, sold as is, or pressed onto garments right then.

In this video, we use the Digital Knight DK20 Heat Press. It has a 16" x 20" platen that is the perfect size for most projects.
This tote bag is 100% cotton, but spangles can also stick to polyester and blends.
This spangle design has about 2,147 spangle punches in it. If we break down the costs of consumables, this spangle transfer only costs $1.07 in spangles and $1.04 for the transfer sheet. That's only $2.11 total.
The blank tote is $3.05. So to produce this custom bag it costs $5.16, but something this shiny and unique could easily sell for $20.
This means you can profit almost $15 on a simple project like this.
