Good work first time i saw boat made from bamboo but its ok we use Faber glass it good not heavy like cement. But is ur choice. Its amazing boat from bamboo. God bless.
May be, you could use wire mesh wrapped around the external body of the bamboo frame, to reinforce the concrete, to prevent it from cracking and leaking.

Good job done .When some body using stainless steel to make very big ship ,the old scientist laughing that Density of metal many times heavier than water ,impossible to float on top of water surface ? Until somebody proved that by Archimedes principle that the Volume of empty space that replacing the same volume of water, and thus the extremely metal is able to float on the water surface. Similarly scientist said that we can used Light to replace fuel rocket engine to travelling in universe/vacuum space. So far we can proved with light weight but haven achieved with heavy spaceship . We can use Sound or wave to make heavy object to fly and move mountain like UFO doing ! Human being can Only do it in small scale but not big scale like moving the Moon or planets !

Como diseñador y constructor naval soy muy escéptico que el resultado sea el esperado. El cemento es tan poco flexible que a la mínima torsión y/o diferencia térmica entre el sol y la temperatura del agua, inevitablemente generará grietas. Dudo muchísimo que dure unos pocos meses. Para ese lugar, mejor y menos complicado una buena balsa con varios niveles de bambú sin laminar.

Perhaps the bamboo keeps the boat afloat. Sand/cement are heavy. I wonder if you built this bamboo boat yourself. It'd be great if you did. The tiny scrap of a girl in Green Forest Farm built an awesome wooden boat which is seaworthy. I bet she will be able to weave a bamboo boat easily. Although it's the first time I see a bamboo boat coated in cement you're a middle-aged man of 40+ compared to that young tiny girl who built her boat alone. You even have a big-sized woman to help you so I am not so awed by your effort. Anyway if the boat floats/lasts then I say good job!
