Such a smooth video to watch. Your voice is soothing to listen to, your little extra tips will ensure ours looks as great as yours. You could also give this as a go-along with a journal for their pens/pencils. They could clip onto the top flap, or we could sew a few straight lines through the pocket to make slots for the pencils and pens. Thanks for all your work.
Or tack the elastic when item is still flat, before folding over, so that a pen/pencil could slide in that area! Thanks for that great idea as my granddaughter likes to journal.
@@NotchesSewing oh good! I was just thinking that, since my grandson doesn't wear glasses, I could make him something similar. Only with it holding color pencils for long car trips or when he needs to sit quietly but have something to do.
Thank you so much Angela I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and amazingly creative bookmark and glasses holder. I watched this 6-months ago. But, I was just reviving my own collection of bookmarks. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
I missed this video….Glad I checked my subs ! I bought this pretty butterflies fat quarter in white …. Did not see the blue on the shelf. I didn’t have a project in mind …now thanks to this video, I am making one for me. Great 👍 idea to put it on elastic to strap to my journal. My reading glasses are lost usually and I have to retrace my steps, so this is a very creative and practical project. 💕love all you ideas ! Making this for the seniors I know cause they know how badly this is needed. Birthday gifts for 2022…. CHECKED !! 👍👍
Wow! What a great gift idea for anybody that needs glasses to read or use a computer. You can make the elastic longer or shorter... I'm using it to keep my glasses with my Kindle! Thank you for another great tutorial!
☺Yet another fun, useful and great gift idea. Your instructions are priceless. You not only make it look easy, but provide the guidance I need to say "I can't believe I made that"! Thank you for your commitment to quality and ease of application.
Thank you so much Angela, I really really love ❤❤❤ this idea. Your instructions are very very precise and totally accurate and beautifully executed too. I really really love ❤❤ your videos. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
I have never seen an eyeglasses case like this. This is a wonderful idea. It is beautiful and so needed. I use to have to get my children up early in the mornings to find my glasses. When they married and moved away, I had to be more careful about where I left my glasses before going to bed. Thank you for this wonderful idea. The sound is very low on this video. None of the other videos that I watch are turned down so low. I can't turn my sound up any higher.
Not sure about the sound as it is fine on all my devices. Thanks again for watching. I hope you will make this so you always know where your glasses are😊
I agree with you, it is a great idea and I too couldn't hear but I have extra speakers so that I can turn up the volume. Now to remember to turn it back down so the next video doesn't blast me! lol
@@NotchesSewing I'm still not sure what I am doing wrong. I was able to subscribe to your newsletter, but I still get an error message when I try to download the file. I even changed my settings to allow cookies and pop-ups. I'm sure I can mock up the pattern, but the actual pattern would have been good to have. Thanks again for the tutorial.
Hmm, on our end it doesn’t look like you filled out a form? Try filling out the pattern form again or alternatively please send me an email which you can find on my channel . Cheers
I just finished one for my mom! the corners were a bit hard to top stitch, even slowly. I hope with time and practice I can get it to look more smooth. Overall I'm still very happy with it.
Did you trim down the corners before turning right side out? Corners can be a bit tricky to topstitch but gets easier with practice. You can slowly handwheel it around for more control. Thanks for watching😊
Sew one stitch at a time and pivoting a tiny bit each time. (hand wheel each stitch if necessary) Shorten your stitch length if you want and use a ¼” edge guide if you have one. (draw a curve and practice on scraps)
Do we have to give phone number to get the pattern? I'd rather not get texts and I already get enough annoying telemarket hangup calls. I do like this project, thank you for creating so many helpful videos.
@@NotchesSewing, thank you for your reply. I am sorry if I seemed rude, it was not my intent but even today, a holiday in U.S., we've had hangup calls because it takes me too long to find the cell phone. How I long for the days where I knew the phone was hanging on the kitchen wall, lol. The cell could be anywhere I used it last. Okay I will get the pattern as I think my granddaughter would love this. I am going to add a couple stitches for a pen holder in the elastic with a generous 1/4 inch added to it. Thank you again for your lovely videos. I do love your way of teaching.
@@NotchesSewing, sorry to bother you again but I entered email and phone number but got this message: "An error occured when submitting. Please try again later." I have tried with phone number and without.
You should’ve received an immediate email with the link for pattern. Please check your spam/junk folder in case it’s there. Please email me and I’ll make sure you have it. Cheers!
Still no pattern and I have emailed you several times. Can I cancel my order and get a refund if I am unable to get the pattern? Thanks I have ordered before without issues.
That’s great. I haven’t recieved your email yet but can you tell me what the original browser that didn’t work so I can tell maintenance, Many thanks. I’ve got some more projects soon. Cheers!
