Very nice bottle opener. Very interesting and very unique design. Can't wait to see ur next videos. Always great learning from different smiths. With the size of that thing, I actually forgot that you were making a bottle opener XD Just before the end, when I did remember, I was wondering if it was a wall mounted bottle opener. This one wasn't but... .... maybe ... just maybe... you can do one in the future. Is it possible to forge a wall mounted bottle opener?

Rather flattering to see my idea being tweaked and experimented with! When I first came up with the "dragon's tail" opener design, I was trying to incorporate as many fundamental movements into a project so new folks could get in some practice and come away with something other than another blasted hook. I've never tried one of those over-the-top openers, though, and will have to give it a go next time I light the forge.

I tell my wife that making bottle openers is making me a better blacksmith, she reckons it's making me an alcoholic and she says it like it's a bad thing. I suppose all things are relative.

Hmm Very Good and different. How about a belt buckle bottle opener, I made several years and years ago for some bar maids. It would be good to see someone else's take on it.
