To make the surround bow, it would be so much easier to have one long 3/8 inch piece of ribbon and fold it down the middle and then make the loops instead of having 4 small pieces and gluing them together. It would also be sturdier.

how to make the boutique bow could be explained a bit better, just making random folds does not create the bow evenly, I have been doing it for 15mins and it still isn't done.....

Hello ma'am how many inches is the first main bow I tried a foot in a half (18 inches) and it seems to short can you say how many inches the ribbon should be for the main bow? Thanks :)

What type of ribbon (fabric) are you using? Grosgrain? Satin? Can you do this with both types of ribbon as well (especially regarding the heat setting of the ends)?

This is my first go ! And I was fine. Until I'm looping the long length of 7 /8ths ribbon as my ribbon has a pretty and a plain side so I dont want to do it upside down if that makes sense and with it being done from the other side I cant see exactly what way to do it can anyone help me !

Great tutorial! Every bow I've purchased at some point, that is assembled with hot glue, always comes apart and has to be glued back. Is there any type of hot glue that is really permanent? Thanks!

No, you can use crafting wire to wrap around the center, instead of having to sew it together.

omg I love your idea its very clever to put the grippers on the clip. i never thought of that. and you can actually find that grip mat on any 99cents store and it should last a very long time since you are only using a tiny strip. I am definitely going to do that on my next bows. thanks for the tutorial and by the way the bow is very pretty I love it and it looks very elegant although is very easy to put together. well i send my luv... have a lovely day!!!

Excellent video, easy to follow although I had problems with my "spike" positioning. In fact you can barely see my spikes. I've cut them to the right size so I don't know what's going on. :( Now that I've tried to do it again I think its my fold.How exactly are you doing the fold?
