So far your tutorial makes a lot more sense than the many others i have seen. However i do not und where your choices for marking come from after you make the square. I doubt they are just randomly chosen. reason i am asking, my breast is 11 in by 20 in. and i don't want to make a mistake in doing this. There is no company out there that makes a bra in my size. I have to learn to do this for my health.
None of this makes sense if your measurements aren’t the same number. You measured 8 in from top to underboob and also 8 in crim center of chest to side. But what if your numbers are not exactly the same? Which line is for what?
depending on what you are planning to wear under it!! if you use this pattern as a bra, then take them without and if you're using it to make a bralette top, maybe with. it would also depend on if you wanna put bra padding in it or not.
Please don't use this pattern!!!!!! I drafted this pattern, cut out my fabric and put it all together only for it to be so big at the sides?? Does this pattern come with seam allowance? It was so big!!! I wasted so much fabric and time.

um, I'd say do both measurements and compare. Ideally with a somewhat thin bra. Your looking broadly, for comfort as well as accuracy, so having both on reference would be best if your concerned.
