Hi, I was wondering if you could guide us on how to setup OasisLinux, I got to a working ROOTFS but was unable to proceed using a pre-compiled kernel from Alpine nor from landley's mkroot releases (landley is the guy behind Toybox). (my PC simply can't compile the kernel, out of memory errors, lots of them. I've tried before, had the same issues with XBPS-src, portage and sabotage, but as long as I use a pre-compiled kernel, or compile the kernel on a google VM, things are usually fine, except with Oasis, I haven't got it to work. There's also a very interesting distro called Iglunix, which describes itself as a a Unix operating system based on Linux, it has no GNU components. That one I tried in QEMU and its great.)
@@cineminttechtips Thanks! You also inspired me to write and rewrite various coreutils and create my own Alpine-based OS! (your video was literally the only piece of documentation [that I was able to understand] I found about mkimg)
