Temmie TheTopler Are you an idiot? My point is if you were about 17/18 that means you played ROBLOX from about 7/8+, and a lot of things you used to enjoy as a kid disappeared. Oversensitive about age or what?
Who cares that the style is not original this was a 7 minute video to show the basics he wasn't trying to make a masterpiece, he was just trying to show the basics to newbies so they can use their newfound knowledge to produce their own original music.
ok but i dont need to be taught how to make a drum loop and a simple chord progression and how to add an automation clip to that. this is even less than the basics
@@jjpelham7548 no dumass bc probably its for ppl who opened up fl studio for the first time... The automation clip is something u just cant learn on your own
@@RVXbeats Bro, that was me 2 years ago. Don’t know what the discussion was about, but i had probably said something stupid because i was only making music like half a year or so back then and didn’t know wtf i was talking about haha
I think this video is perfect for beginners, of course when you get better, you may make it more complicated, but this is a great video to start. And yeah, even it's simple af, sounds amazing :P
as an experienced myself, i must say that this is a good blueprint to get new music makers started. you gave them a little kickstart, and then they will continue on their own. if i was new to this i would find it helpful. keep up the work!
RANDOMLETTERSBLAH -Drift Enemy- If you follow the link, there is a download button. The file you download is a zip file. Extract the files. Take the T-Force Alpha Plus DLL file and stick it in your plugins folder, then refresh that in FL studio. Hope that helps.
Thanks. it was a good video. The song wasnt supposed to be creative or original. This is what the stupid society loved. and its shit. just like the society..
@@jonatan0_0 oh yeah andere you're into progressive Jazz and don't Go Shopping because it's what's everybody does? Dude don't say things you don't understand.
A lot of people are giving you shit but many people don't realize you're basically giving them the most general outline to get them STARTED. I'll tell you, it doesn't take 5 minutes to become the biggest pro. He took the time to help people out and tell people how to get started. I have produced for 7 years and started EDM only about a year and a half ago (not even), and it took me that long to develop a style I liked and that was unique to me. Of course there's so much more that goes into this such as mixing and mastering, but it takes time and you NEED TO START SOMEWHERE!
1. Sidechain chords 2. Add deeper bass on at least one of the drops 3. Add noise sweeps at the transitions 4. EQ and compress 5. Saturate the kick 6. Add some variation on the second drop 7. Add more layers in general 8. It never hurts to get some ambiance in it. Other than that, the song would probably sell. It sounds like the kind of stuff that you'd find on the radio.
This was the first tutorial I watched about music production about 3 years ago. I was happy that I could produce something, even though it was so basic. I haven't stopped since then. Thank you dude :D
Wow! This defiantly helped me learn more about fl studio. :D Now I can make the music fade in like a pro. :D Plus it's a very catchy tune. Thanks again!
1st of all - I LOVE THIS TUTORIAL thank you for making this 2nd of all - for the people who are complaining how basic it is. This is for beginners, _clearly_ you shouldn't be complaining. Just click off if it's not at your level
now while i'm no expert in music theory, and only have the demo version of fl studio, you really forgot an epic lead, and a good bassline. also, a quiet arp would be nice, as well as sidechained and eq'd kick/bass. you can also keep a similar chord pattern for the drop, but make small changes to the progression to make it a bit more exciting. that is how you become a good dj anyway.
I can't thank you enough man coz of this vedio a year later I am making stuff that I can actually publish, I actually spent like 20 min watching how to FL vedios but idk this one just made me understand fl studio basic fster than any other vedio ❤ ❤❤
Thank you. Perfect for a beginner like me. The tutorials that come with Fl don't show how to stitch what you demonstrated in minutes. So simple. Great vid.
T-Force Alpha plus is not a default FL Studio plugin. You can download it here: www.vst4free.com/free_vst.php?id=1426 The official website for the vst is down so you gotta download it here :)
***** You dont need music knowledge for this kind of music, you can learn a daw, mixing and mastering with a year/year and a half (Of really learning every-single day). I make actual music, not electronic that takes less than 5 minutes (Literally, this video is almost and example haha). So dont come to me saying this is making music, cause anyone can do this Another thing, 3 years of musical knowledge, learning an instrument, getting into a daw, and mixing and mastering... It isnt shit
***** Sorry man, but music comes out of an instrument, its a lack of respect for people that studied and instrument for years saying that with a programmed midi synth you are making music, its just sad where this is going
+Matt Dildes Nah making music anytype of music is hard in general you need countless years of knowledge on your music theory, mixing, mastering, placing of your sounds/instruments elements, ambience etc. it is very difficult overall and most of your todays hits are just simple melodyś with other simple sounds added to it to make it sound complex. simplicity is key because it is catchy and thats something you want with music so people remember your melody and get it stuck in their head. Nothing about making music is easy
Holy shit that was dope! I just recently started using FL Studio to make music and it's so much fun and so rewarding when something comes together! Keep it up! WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB!!!
I´m sorry to tell this man, but THIS IS NOT SO EASY. WHERE IS THE MIXING AND MASTERING? WHY DO YOU PUT THAT CHORDS? The creation of your "song" it´s only the start. I am going to give you some examples: 1. The melody it´s good, OK, but if you don´t make a good mixing the song it´s going to sound dirty (like in the video with the chords). 2. If you don´t move the knob of the volume in the mixer channel of all the sounds to find the way to listen all the things at the same volume, there are going to be parts (like the kick, for example) that are not going to be heart. 3.There is a musical theory behind the chords, and I think that you don´t know why it sounds good. I tell this to you because you did a good job in chords, but you need to know that you need to work many days, or months, to obtain the final result of a GOOD SONG with the highest quality. So, instead of make a video about this, try to watch videos about musical theory and how to make good mixing and mastering in FL Studio. You are going to learn a lot of things that are going to be useful to increment the level of your songs. And please, don´t be angry with me. I tell this to you cause I want to help people like you. Have a nice day ;) VIDBAT
+Edurad Mrotsdnas Hi m8! I use these plugins to make EDM: Sylenth1, Spire, Serum, Massive and SynthMaster. Then you need to search a lot of plugins to put in the mixer, that plugins are very expensive and they help you to make a better EQ in your tracks. Finally, you need to learn how to mastering (and that´s not easy, you will need to view a lot of tutorials in YT) I hope that this could be usefull to you, if it is, please visit my YT channel and follow me in SoundCloud, as @VIDBAT Have a nice day bro!
VIDBAT - EDM World Thanks for quick reply! Good info , ill sub don't worry . Is it possible to find cracked version of plugins or is that a no no? I don't have $300 dollers etc
Hahahahahaha, yeah it´s possible to find that plugins, but search videos in YT with a lot of views and likes. I think that you don´t want to install malwares or something worst xD
As my experience as music maker, many beginner they trying to make a song that very hard to make as beginner. Thats happen to me too back there and im strugling to make what i want in my music like almost 4 month just for one song. I finish the song but it didnt make me 100% happy and i decide to make simple song. Like this. Beat, Drop, Catchy melody. Surprisingly i finish the song in 3 day and im happy with it. After that i begin to gain many motivation to make another song to the highest level. I study one by one technic how to make a good song in Fl studio. Every song i make i learn one or two new method and now im more confident to make my own song just in 2 month. When listening to every song from other music maker i begin to have inspiration and push me foward to make a good music for everyone. If you are a beginner, dont push your self too hard in the beginning. Try to make something simple first, if u want share it with us. Enjoy the way and you will become more talented than you ever know.
Some people really have a low standard for what's a good music. You make producers look bad. Work 3-4 hours a day and come back making videos in 2 or 3 years.
I hate seeing people do something they are not quite familiar with. I can make the same thing repeating for hours but what's the point of doing it? Music is about scaling. Its a specific way of thinking which you should apply on the program. Its not random clicking buttons. I've tried clicking random buttons and what happens as final result is exactly what the video shows us. On youtube they are like 5% actual tutorials. Don't confuse people with this shit.
SeamlessR , Busy works beats ( those 2 include music theory lessons) And Arcade ( More simple tutorials without much music theory ) What i have learned about music comes from those 2 channels. Won't regret
Thanks mate. I am already in love with Seamless, but Busy works beats and Arcade were a revelation. I will give you a ride on my private jet as soon as I become popular and rich as f. ... which is pretty impossible. but who knows?.. XD
Its funny to see some people commenting like good tutorial but this is one of the worst tutorials, I mean you are using fl studio kick, snare and all that shit, you dont even no music theory, Im not hating but you will need a lot hard work and than make a video ;)
