Well done video, Good job. I got 15-20 % more wild birds when I added a bird bath to my yard, And an additional 10% When I added a fountain to the bird bath. My $20.00 solar water. Pumps generally last 3-3.5 years.
Great job very creative I’m in the middle of making one myself mine isn’t as big but I used a Christmas tree plastic bulb a large one for my sphere it came out great, thanks for sharing.
Am I the only one worrying about putting so much weight onto the glass-topped table? (I liked watching the process, but seeing the concrete bag, sand, tools, etc. piled on the table made me nervous.) The final fountain is very good looking, and I love that you added the black coloring to the cement mix.
Mr.Gilbert if you need additional planters you could use one of those as a mold that is what I did with mine because they are so expensive. Use Portland cement and sand and make sure that you seal it you could save tons of money.
I just love this and started gathering supplies to make one! Question: did you make the first one without a base? If so, does it sit nicely on the pan without one? Question 2: I didn’t see the toilet part you incorporated anywhere in the finished product. Is it still there? Thank you!!
Fantastic Bob. Professional looking fountain indeed 🥰The dye you added to the water, is it specific for concrete? I have black dye but for fabrics, can that be used? Thanks. 💦🕊️🌞
I like how the fountain turned out but I think that water is going to get gross pretty fast. Birds are going to drink and they’re also going to do other things in that water and then it’s going to get re-circulated. I’m sure you don’t want the birds to get sick from contaminated water. We have a birdbath, it does not circulate, but within a week the water is disgusting.
Hi Sheila. You are absolutely right. I have three fountains including a hummingbird fountain. I change the water and sanitize every few weeks just for that reason. Thanks for watching!
@@1toymaniac Oh ! You change the water and sanitize every few weeks. And what kind of ( milli amp ) water pump do you use, solar or ac 120 ? Web Link ? Thanks Bob.
