When I think of a Dump Cake recipe, I think of using my pressure cooker instead of my oven which is why I use the pressure cooker. I use the same ingredients except the pecans which I think is a good idea. But I will give this a try.because your dish size wont fit in my pressure cooker.

I have ever made a dump cake. I only use recipes from scratch. I would never ever throught of pineapples and cherry. I love both . That’s allot of butter
I've seen this recipe from 1-2 sticks. Most ask for 1.5. I don't remember what I've done in the past because I've never followed a recipe. I used to poke pieces of butter down into it. I'm using crushed pineapple for the first time; I just always stirred tidbit pineapple into the pie filling. Definitely going to try the grated butter.
