This is such an adorable set of Xmas cards Eloise! You made an excellent point about it being much easier and quicker when mass producing cards to use our Ziggies instead of Copics! TFS sweetie!
I loved your idea's for gift giving cards along with a homemade box for the cards. Loved this idea a lot. Thanks for sharing your idea's for this gift.
Thank you for sharing this project. Great tips there for mass producing. Thanks again. They're sooo cute and no - I have not turned green with envy at the supplies you have at your fingertips. Oh wouldn't I love to get in there for a play
I wish they would make a video on how to use dyes (dies?) I've never done it before and I want to see if it's something I'd like to add to my collection
Rylee Clevenger you have to have a die cutting machine such as a Sizzix or Cuttlebug but honestly, other than the quickness of the machine, fussy cutting your stamped images is easy and it keeps the white border away from your cut images.....which I prefer. Go to the Sizzix RU-vid channel and watch some of their videos; they will show you how to use the die cut machine. Then, look at the cost of the dies and decide whether you actually want to invest in them or not. Also, with the Sizzix machine, you can emboss your backgrounds with embossing folders for texture. You just have to weigh the costs vs. the time taken to fussy cut.
Kimberly Siddons see I have a hand- me down cattle bug, but I only have embossing plates and I knew it should be used for dye cutting I just have no clue where to start card making is way out of my comfort zone I just am not sure yet. I'll check them out thank you for your help 🙂
Rylee Clevenger card making is fun, and since the cards are home made, there is no perfection required. Watch Jennifer McGuire, Kristina Werner and Gina K's (stamp tv), RU-vid channels. They have great ideas and explain everything they are doing in great detail, while they are doing the technique - even using the cutting dies. You will find out how fun it is to make cards with just the small amount of stuff you have on hand. Then once you start with their channels, they will lead to other card making channels. But beware!! You will want everything you see 😊
Georgie D'Alessandro They will, if you have 4 bar card size envelopes (3.5" x 4 7/8") - Lawn Fawn sells them, I just forgot to add them in. Since I was opening this later. :)
Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. They're water-based markers that have a real bristle-brush tip, rather than like the "brush" tip on most markers. Really neat! HTH! :)
