As much I don't like those yellow push blocks, I have to say, that was very clever ad placement!

When I was a kid I had a little dog cart that I pulled with a rope. It was pretty clever it had legs attached to the wheels that would go up and down and I'm not sure but I think the head even went back and forth. I think one of my relatives made it for me. It would be really cool to see you make one of those.

Steve, a table saw and power drill? I would have dovetailed the sides, wheels and blocks left to a natural Danish oil finish. A nice hemp rope to get the parents in a mello mood when putting blocks back in wagon (if you catch my drift). Seriously, an awesome project my grand baby will enjoy next year. I love the MICRO JIG lead ins, they are what let's me know you have a sense of humor and know I'm joking. THANKS

Steve, great project. However you may want to weave a stick to the pull rope as a safety feature to keep it from tangling around a small child's neck. In fact, i think pull toys like that have such a feature mandated to prevent accidents

You're right chance9050, I was thinking the same thing. A manufacturer could never sell this in a store with that length of rope due to the various laws nowadays. Do I agree with that no. I remember having something very similiar to this as a child with a similiar length of rope. I'm still alive. That's just the reality of the world today.
